Really looking forward to the Barrhead show. Looking forward to seeing Lowthian again. After his last performance, I think it made people want more from him. He's definitely destined for greater things.

Plus, Highlander vs. Lionheart. I think this'll be the first time they've squared against each other. Once again, looking forward to this. Also looking forward to seeing what the newcomer Joey Starr has. Only heard good things about him.

Any results for the Barrhead show?

Noam Dar beat Tango Timm Wylie - cracking match as expected from Noam.

Jack Jester, Liam Thomson, Scott Maverick & Joey Starr beat Davey Miller, JD Bravo, Davey Blaze and Stevie Xavier - a few newbies who, I'm sure, will feature more next year.

Lionheart beat "Old School" Colin Mckay - not bad at all.

Nikki Storm and Kay Lee Ray v Carmel and Shelly - missed ending

TJ Rage beat "Unstoppable" Andy Wild - good all round match

BT Gunn beat "The Tyneside Titan" Lowthian to retain the PBW Heavyweight Title - some very good moves.

'Saturday night saw the final PBW show of 2011 and our great fans in Barrhead helped us make it a show to remember. Firstly a massive thankyou to the 210 fans who braved the the lovely weather and came out to support us in Barrhead :)

Full results were as follows

Noam Dar bt 'Tango' Timm Whylie

Jack Jester, Liam Thomson, Scott Maverick and Joey Starr bt Stevie Xavier, JD Bravo, Davey Miller & Davey Blaze

Lionheart bt 'Old Skool' Colin Mckay

Kay Lee Ray & Nikki Storm bt Carmel & Shelly Star

TJ Rage bt 'Unstoppable' Andy Wild

PBW Championship Match - BT Gunn bt Lowthian to retain

The show kicked of as fan favourite Noam Dar took on the much larger Timm Whylie. A solid opening contest in which Dar pulled of the upset by pinning Whylie. This tops of a great year for the young starlet who at only 18 years of age is heading onto 2012 as one of the most talked about wrestlers in the UK today.

Next up with the big 8 man elimination tag team match. Just the visual of all 8 men standing in the ring was enough to have the fans on the edge of their seats. An intense match followed with all 8 men impressing on the night. It wasnt to be a good night though for Team Xavier as it would be him left alone at the end with Thomson and Jester and as much as Xavier is on a fantastic run at the moment this proved to be a bit to much. Jester and Thomson beat Xavier for the unpopular victory.

Up next was a match that has been 10 years in the making. Lionheart was trained by Colin Mckay yet these two have never crossed paths in singles competition. What followed was a solid hard hitting matchup which was won by Lionheart after a brutal frogsplash. In a true show of sportsmanship, Lionheart addressed the PBW fans explaining to them that this was Mckays last match for PBW. What followed was a true show of respect from Lionheart and the PBW fans as they gave Mckay a standing ovation in a truely moving moment. He may be done as an in ring performer but Mckay will be in attendance next year at many of our live events to help guide our younger stars and offer advice and feedback to them and we are thrilled to have someone of his experience on board in this role.

After the break the show started back with a womans tag team contest as the arrogant Carmel and Shelly Star took on Nikki Storm and Kay Lee Ray. Lots of big moves from both teams until Kay Lee Ray delivered a massive 360 flip piledriver on Shelly Star for the convincing 3 count.

Our final match before the main event saw two men who have had a fantastic year come head to head again and produce an excellent match which was eventually won bt TJ Rage after he hit 'Roll of rage' on Wild from the top rope. Both men are surely ones to watch out for during 2012.

Main event time and once again fighting champion BT Gunn accepts any challenge as he battles English powerhouse Lowthian in an epic 20 minute match. Both men hit each other with everything with Lowthian coming within inches of winning the title when he caught BT Gunn with a huge powerbomb as BT came of the top rope. The action spilled into the crowd and eventually got back in the ring where BT Gunn managed to hit the codebreaker for the win.

BT Gunn will now head into 2012 as PBW champion and no doubt will have no shortage of challengers who fancy a shot at his beloved championship.

Once again a huge thankyou to all our greats fans in attendance. Pictures by David Wilson will be online shortly and we look forward to returning to Barrhead next year.'
