TildeGuy~!
WWE Smackdown (Airing this Friday night)* SmackDown opens with Teddy Long and Zack Ryder backstage, talking about the walkout on RAW. Teddy says RAW's loss will be SmackDown's gain and Ryder chimes in.* Vickie Guerrero, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Cody Rhodes, David Otunga, Wade Barrett and Christian are in the ring to heat from the crowd. They talk about their grievances and threaten to boycott all WWE events because of unsafe working conditions, unless Triple H resigns as WWE COO.* WWE champ Alberto Del Rio comes out and says that the Smackdown stars won't return to Raw as long as HHH is COO. Paid Members PunkStep Posted October 5, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted October 5, 2011 But hang on- Triple H is COO of WWE, not just Raw. So how does boycotting Raw and not Smackdown make any sense?

Merzbow
If I'm 9 years old right now, I think Air Boom are worthless jackasses. WTF are they doing with this thing?Exactly, Triple H is so much of a loved face that all the faces that walked out could now be hated. It better be worth it in the end. diamond_dust
There should really have been some angle with at least some guys giving HHH a chance to sort something on Raw next week. Right now the message is Raw next week only has HHH & maybe Orton going to turn up. Only thing they can logically do which would be a ratings killer is have some FCW/Indy guys turn up work matches and not need to explain why everyone who walked out is still at Raw. Wrasslin
As confusing as this whole thing is, despite how it's making certain faces (Air Boom) looked like complete idiots, it has actually got me very interested in watching Raw next week. So I suppose in that respect it's a good thing, but long term I can't see how this is benefiting anybody except the already established stars at the top. chris1289
The thinking behind it seems to be that with Teddy Long running things on Smackdown as General Manager then the talent feel a bit safer. Yes HHH is COO of the entire WWE but he is the main guy in charge of Raw, with Teddy Long taking charge of the Smackdown side of things. Dear god I hope this angle doesn't get screwed up!! Joey Joe Joe Jr
while this storyline has its flaws, we still have NO idea where this might be going and the idealistic part of me hopes that there is a real end-goal that the creative team are trying to reach, whether it be to set things in place for survivor series or somewhere beyond.all i know is that i was completely put off last year because of the guest host thing where raw was essentially the same show each week, but with the bad film/comedy special/cd being plugged being changed week-to-week (and all that bad comedy which came off it). right now they've built up punk, miz and truth really well, and are trying the same with del rio (though im not a fan personally). meanwhile, they have executed several really terrific moments/segments/images/promos in the process and are making use of social media in a way that they haven't before, to build stories, in between shows. they've also got some great mid-card talent like ziggler and sheamus who ive gotten into more, whereas last year i felt they were shoved down my throat.raw is no longer a chore to watch, and its nice to see several threads being sewn from various feuds/groups/tiers of the card to unite everything, rather than it being cena being the focus and nothing else really mattering. when everyone interacts with eachother, everyone looks big-time (unless they're really lacking in an area and aren't protected) or at least are helped.
