Sheffbag
Plus one for the Dome but that was more for the bar. Â For me it has to be the Horseshoe at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, spent many an afternoon in there on holiday and always a great atmosphere
cheetah69uk
the Dome in Morecambe was a great venue but is of course no more.....i really like the venue in Preston that Mr Fludder uses the light above the ring is fantastic
BrokeNCYDE
Haha, god bless the orpington halls. Â Cliffs pavillion in westcliff/southend is good. Winter gardens in margate is another good one. Â Â Â
andrew "the ref" coyne
During my time with the original FWA, I remember Broxbourne Civic Hall (dark and moody), York Hall (great view for everyone, very "british" venue) and Crystal Palace (for Revival) being awesome venues. Paid Members JNLister Posted September 29, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 29, 2011 The Jolly Beggar/Tam O'Shanter Burns Club in Coventry always held a good atmosphere. Â I remember seeing Danielson there a few years back and thinking how weird it was that the guy who'd won awards as the best in-ring wrestler in the world was working in the upstairs room in a pub. NatureBoy
So many great venues in this country for many different reason. Ill narrow it down to; Â Broxbourne Civic Hall Wolverhampton Civic Hall Wyvern Hall, Sittingbourne Thurrock Civic Hall, Grays Tap N Tin
Snitsky's back acne
Have to echo the Winter Gardens in Margate. Rowdy venue back in the day [maybe still is, dunno] and a beautiful hall, even if Margate has become a bit of a run-down shithole in recent years. Â I know I was in the minority but I liked The Granby. Maybe 'liked' is the wrong word but I got a major kick out of seeing guys like Abyss, Doug Basham, Nigel McGuinness, Jimmy Jacobs and others work in such a scummy fleapit on a dodgy industrial estate. It had 'character' did The Granby. Â Eastmount Rec Centre that NGW use is a great little venue. A cunt to find [and I say that as someone who lives in Hull] but a great little venue nonetheless. The Dart
Have to echo the Winter Gardens in Margate. Rowdy venue back in the day [maybe still is, dunno] and a beautiful hall  It is. Maybe not as much, but it still is a rowdy crowd.  I too love that venue. Broxbourne Civic Hall, Doncaster Dome, Fairfield Halls Croydon, Southend Cliffs Pavillion, all great venues. Craig The Hunter
The Maryhill Community Halls for the early ICW shows was absolute class. Really liked the Magnum Centre in Irvine as well, put across the "Big Show" feel.

I always enjoyed the Ivy Leaf in Sheldon too. Â They needed better beer whenever I went along. The selection was underwhelming.
