ChrisPPW
PPW Presents... "HONOR OF THE PHOENIX"...  Taken from www.phoenixprowrestling.co.uk...  !! RING OF HONOR STAR TO CROSS THE POND FOR "HONOR OF THE PHOENIX" !!  Former Ring of Honor Pure Champion, America's "Hurricane" John Walters will cross the pond to make his PPW debut on October 14th...   ... During his time in Ring of Honor, Walters competed aganst some of the finest wrestlers the world has to offer, including multiple time WWE Champion CM Punk, and in 2005 Walters defeated one of Britain's finest ever competitors, Doug Williams, to win the Ring of Honor Pure Championship. Now, the "Hurricane" is coming across the pond to compete amongst the finest wrestlers the UK has to offer, when he steps into the PPW Ring on October 14th at the West Bromwich Labour Club.  Ring of Honor star "Hurricane" John Walters will make his PPW debut as captain of "TEAM WALTERS" in a HUGE 6-Man Tag Team contest, featuring some of the finest competitors from the UK, Europe and the Rest of the World. On the opposite side of the ring, Irish Wrestling Superstar and European Champion Sean South with make his PPW debut as captain of "TEAM SOUTH."   As promised in the above video, Sean South has revealed to of PPW's toughest and most hated competitors as his partners for "Honor of the Phoenix" this friday night in West Bromwich. First up is perhaps the toughest wrestler in British Wrestling today, Scotland's Kid Fite! Fite has made no friends in PPW but has had some big victories this year, including wins over West Bromwich's own Tommy Gunn and his recent World of Sport rules victory over Steven Xavier. Fite will be looking to use this match to stake his claim at a shot at El Ligero's PPW Championship. The third member of Team South is Himley Hall resident, Lord Graham Thomas III. Thomas is right up there with Paul Malen in the "most-hated" ranks, and is sure to make a very cunning and crafty member of Team South.  The full line up for "Team Walters" has now been revealed ahead of Friday Night's HUGE main event. First, making his return to the ring after a two year hiatus, he has held all number of singles and tag team championships throughout his career, and is one of the finest wrestlers to come out of the West Midlands. Making his PPW debut on October 14th is British Born Steele!!  Completing "Team Walters" is a West Bromwich's hometown boy, "The King of Bling", "The Sultan of Swagga", "His Highness of Flyness"...LUCIAN L. JONES!! Jones will add a whole new dimension to the tecnicnical excellence already on display on in this contest, and with Lucian already having a bit of history with Lord Graham Thomas III, this match could wind up as a match of the year contender for PPW!!  !! "WORLD OF SPORT RULES" REMATCH SIGNED FOR OCT 14TH !!  The Heavyweights of PPW will clash one more time on October 14th at the West Bromwich Labour Club, after the "The Prodigy" Paul Malen's controversial victory at "LIKE IT USED TO BE" over"Mr World of Sport" James Mason...   ... With the questionable result in the record books, "The Prodigy" remains the Number 1 Contender for the PPW Championship and will get his shot at PPW Champion El Ligero's title later in the year. However, October 14th is all about mano-a-mano and "getting the right result" for James Mason, who will be keen to right the wrongs of September 16th in a rematch of their exhilerating "World of Sport Rules" Contest from last month.  !! TWO WORLD CLASS DEBUTANTS ANNOUNCED FOR OCT 14TH !!  With 2 huge announcements already made regarding Honor of the Phoenix, PPW Management felt that it was only right to celebrate PPW's 2nd Anniversary by announcing a 3rd huge match for October 14th!!   All the way from Tehran, Iran, making his PPW is "The Persian Prince" Behnam Ali, one of the most talked about up and comers in the wrestling world right now. Ali is no stranger to controversy either. Whether it's by waving the flag of his home country in their faces or by insulting them in his native language, "The Persian Prince" has made no friends amongst wrestling fans all around the UK and the world having recently return from a trip to Japan. However, noone can dispute this young man's in ring ability, especially for someone of such a tender age.  On the other side of the ring will be, fellow Phoenix debutant, Owen Phoenix. The name is purely coincidence, but the fact that PPW management have signed up such a talented youngster is certainly no accident. Like Ali, Phoenix has just returned from Japan and is swiftly making a big name for himself on the British Wrestling scene. However, unlike "The Persian Prince", Owen is far more humble in his attitude and PPW fans are sure to be rooting for the youngster in what has all the potential to be a classic contest.  !! VILLAIN vs VILLAIN IN THE EVOLUTION LEAGUE !!  One of the unique quirks of the Evolution League is that once in a while two PPW stars who are both generally despised by the PPW fans will inevitably clash. This is the case on October 14th when Scotland's Jamie Feerick goes one on one with "Hellraiser" Brian Wright...   ... Feerick has never shown any interest in gaining the approval of the PPW fans, seemingly (and perhaps quite rightly) more than happy to just use the Evolution League as a stepping stone to bigger and better things, whilst "Hellraiser" caused uproar last month by attacking a unsuspecting female member of the audience. With the PPW fans baying for Brian Wright's blood and Jamie Feerick looking to make an impact on his return to PPW after 3 months away, this match has all the ingredients to be a highly entertaining encounter!  !! 2nd EVOLUTION LEAGUE MATCH SIGNED FOR OCT 14th !!  The Evolution League has delivered all sorts of unexpected stories and events throughout 2011. Nothing however has got a hotter crowd reaction in PPW's Evolution League, than last month when Scotland's Davey Blaze came to the rescue of a female PPW fan that was being attacked by "Hellraiser" Brian Wright. Or perhaps more accurately, when said fan returned the favour and rescued Blaze from "Hellraiser" later on that evening...   ...This month Blaze will attempt to build further momentum on his quest to win the Evolution League, when he takes on league leader "Luscious" Lucas Black. Black has showed absolutely no redeeming features throught 2011 and, after yet another sneaky win last month, this time against West Brom's own Lucian L. Jones, Black remains undefeated in PPW. Who will be able to ride the momentum and come out victorious on October 14th?  !! HUGE SINGLES MATCH SIGNED FOR OCT 14th !!  I'm sure PPW fans would agree that, whether you love them or hate them, "The Natural" Nate Colt and "The Ace of Mayhem" Scott Maverick have established themselves as two of the most exciting young stars in PPW in 2011 and Friday night the 2 stars will go one-on-one for the very first time in the PPW ring...   ...The ever popular Nate Colt is sure to have PPW fans behind him, but with big matches under his belt in 2011 against the likes of Drew Gulak and The Liverpool Lads, Maverick will no doubt prove stiff competition for the "The Natural." This one will be exciting!!  Tickets for the show are onsale now:  PHOENIX PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS "HONOR OF THE PHOENIX" Friday 14th Oct 2011 Doors 7pm Bell Time 7:30pm  WEST BROMWICH LABOUR CLUB 54 Sandwell Road West Bromwich West Midlands B70 8TF  ADULT TICKETS:
