That was one of the films my brother and I would watch on tape all the time as kids, alongside Ghostbusters, Bill & Ted and, weirdly, Convoy.   Got me thinking about that blonde hottie Arnie hooks up with in that movie...she was stunning and when Arnie gets into the car and sees her sitting there with those loooong legs  I wonder what she looks like now... Â On a side note about Predator I love the story that McTiernan had to employ a body guard for Sonny Landham on set. But not for him, for the others. As he had a tendency of just losing the plot and smashing folk to pieces! Â Landham is a nutter, by all accounts - I think I heard somewhere that he was a complete mental on the set of 48 Hrs as well. Â Predator is brilliant. It's so well paced and knows when to cut out the one-liners perfectly. The sequel is extremely underrated, as well, and deserves a lot more praise than it has ever got. Â Good to see a lot more Total Recall love as well. Look past the TERRIBLE special effects and you have a great sci-fi actioner, plus Sharon Stone looking absolutely splendid and, most importantly of all, the great Michael Ironside and Ronny Cox. He's a mean dude. Not to be messed with. I'd have loved to have been on the set of Lock Up when Stallone started getting tough. Sonny probably threw him around like a rag doll! There's a view I've never heard before. True Lies was also a good shout from someone earlier on but i'd probably have Terminator 2 and Predator in there ahead of it on my top three.
