cokeorpepsi
Isn't Nash filming a movie at the moment? Surely they'd not contract him and insure him if he was wrestling on the side?

Paid Members Fatty Facesitter Posted September 10, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 10, 2011 It's got work written all over it I think. As talent releases go, this one has been given a fair bit of coverage. Well, at least compared to the likes of DH Smith for example. It's hardly Steve Austin walking out or anything, but Ace never dishes out statements like that, storyline or otherwise. He'll be back and he'll almost certainly be up to some skullduggery at Night of Champions. One thing that did surprise me was Nash coming out and saying it was about money. That's the only barrier so far that leaves me in a little bit of doubt purely because it doesn't tie in with what's been happening on t' telly. If it's just to confuse folk though, it's a nice little tactic.
Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted September 10, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 10, 2011 Link is wrong there buddy.. http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/2011-09-05/la...ds-to-suspicion In the aftermath of Kevin Nash’s live WWE Raw SuperShow termination, the WWE Universe watched with great suspicion as Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis escorted the fired 7-footer out of Columbus’ Nationwide Arena into a limousine. WWE.com called Mr. Laurinaitis after he left the arena with Nash and asked him about the conversation that took place between both men. The Executive Vice President returned our call Friday afternoon with this terse statement: “Kevin Nash is a friend of mine. We have a long history and I'm the one who hired him. I think the circumstances of Kevin's firing are unfortunate, but ultimately, I don’t make the rules around here. [WWE Chief Operating Officer] Triple H does. As far as the conversation in that limo, as the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, I cannot disclose the nature of any private conversation with our talent in order to protect the integrity of the office. I respect the hell out of Kevin and I wish him the best in his future endeavors.” WORK!
kralcdxela
thing is tna would probably take him back with open arms even when he's recently been negative about them. And I bet Nash would happily go back with his tail between his legs, regardless of what he said about them.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted September 10, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 10, 2011 And I bet Nash would happily go back with his tail between his legs, regardless of what he said about them. He doesnt need them. He left them remember? They didnt sack him. WWE's the one who signed Nash to more money than he was getting in TNA, it was WWE that put Nash in a main event program. Not the other way around. Nash couldnt be in a stronger position. So saying "he'd go back to TNA" is irrelevent, because he'll probably be under a WWE legends contract forever, now. There's another reason to find it ridiculous that people think that this is real. He isnt Mike Knox. If you want Kevin Nash off TV, you just take him off TV. You dont fire him. He's been under contract since January.
Paid Members Fatty Facesitter Posted September 10, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 10, 2011 And I bet Nash would happily go back with his tail between his legs, regardless of what he said about them. He slagged off WWE and some of the newer stars IIRC and then a couple of months later he was donning the Diesel gear in the Rumble. You never say never in wrestling, so to speak. People slag each other off in the business all the time and no sooner are they barracking each other when before you know it they'll be out for drinks together or something. It's a fickle profession in many respects.

Yeah but i'm just saying if he HAD really been released, and was no longer in that position.
Paid Members DJ Kris Posted September 12, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 12, 2011 There's somthing thats bugging me. I don't get why the Punk/Nash match was set up only to be changed to Triple H by the end of the show a couple of weeks back. That just came across as a little bit odd, it felt as though something had happened during the show to mean that Nash couldn't wrestle.
The Miz
I think they are building Nash v Punk up as a slow burn, maybe facing off at Survivor Series. I can see Nash helping HHH win next Sunday against Punk, adding fuel to the fire, HHH can be angry at Nash for helping him. Nash eventally being revealed as the heavy of Jonny Ace and Vince. Well I'm assuming this is the way it's going, but why announce the Nash match in the first place? or given that he "Got fired" last week, why not announce Triple H as the replacement after sacking Nash. Also the feeling I got was that Triple as COO wasn't supposed to wrestle but got clearance from the board for this match. That being the case would Triple H being the slow burn have made more sense? I think what I'm getting at here is could there be another reason as to why the match was switched so quickly other than it being the plan all along? The Miz
Well I'm assuming this is the way it's going, but why announce the Nash match in the first place? Nash got fired this past week, after HHH had changed the match and after he had found out Nash sent the text. HHH changed the match because he wanted to face Punk and because as the COO, he could. HHH only just found out it was Nash who sent the text, this happened a week after the HHH v Punk match was set. Needles to say, it is so open, Nash can still end up being on HHH's side. With Nash out of the picture now, it leaves intrigue on when and where Nash will show up next, and who he will "stick".
