Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted September 1, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 1, 2011 Fair enough, but his days of one hour draws were over Errr ... because they werent booking one hour draws maybe? He went to one hour draws and iron mans with Bret Hart in 1992. He worked the Royal Rumble for an hour and looked fresh as a Daisy when he had to go toe-to-toe with Hogan, Piper and Savage in the later stages. When your not wrestling for an hour is usually down to the bookers telling you not to wrestle for an hour.
kralcdxela
That's interesting, I never knew he was having hour long matches with Bret in '92. I also didn't realise his feud with Steamboat started as late as that.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted September 1, 2011 Moderators Share Posted September 1, 2011 He feuded with Steamboat in the late 1970's in JCP, and in 1989.
kralcdxela
I see, so it was a renewal, I thought that seemed a little late. I don't know why his draw with Sting in their first meeting in 88 couldn't have gone the whole hog, the full 60 minutes.
Loligan
Has anyone ever witnessed a 1 hour broadway live? I have seen Steve Corino go quite close on a 1pw show im sure it was. Was boring as fuck! Probably down to Steve Corino mind you but I was almost falling asleep.
Paid Members garynysmon Posted September 2, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 2, 2011 The sooner TNA dies, and someone with balls and decent vision for the future picks up the pieces the better. Â What a load of bollocks. Do you realise how difficult it would be to start a Wrestling company in this day and age?
Poopants the Scrunge
What a load of bollocks. Do you realise how difficult it would be to start a Wrestling company in this day and age? Â Thanks for that. Â When did I say it would be easy? All I offered my was opinion as to what I would like to see happen. Â I don't have any interest in the amount of effort it would take as chances are , it won't be me expelling the effort :-), I appreciate it would be hard though. Nothing worthwhile is ever easy, as the old saying goes. Â Re: The comment about Punk Undermining. its just as it appears to me. You had Punk red hot, with the potential to be Austin era hot, and now he is getting mired down in a 3 way with HHH and Nash, and I guess we will have to wait and see what happens at the PPV...
