Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted April 24, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 24, 2015 I'd be truly devastated if it didn't get renewed. It's the best thing that's happened in wrestling for years for me.
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted April 24, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 24, 2015 I think the big problem is that there's a great show that nearly no wrestling fan has even heard of on a new TV station that nobody watches. No fucker has ever heard of the thing.
Paid Members Maverick Posted April 25, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 25, 2015 It reminds me every week why I love pro wrestling. When I'm watching Raw I'm actively looking for the bits I can skip but have never even considered skipping any LU.
Paid Members Southside crew Posted April 25, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 25, 2015 I'd be truly devastated if it didn't get renewed. It's the best thing that's happened in wrestling for years for me. Such a short statement but such a true one - couldn't agree more !
Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted April 25, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 25, 2015 What's the best way to watch Lucha Underground in its entirety? Torrents and whatnot, or are there more “official” methods of watching it?
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted April 25, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 25, 2015 Probably best to find a website where you can watch wrestling dot ch
Paid Members PunkStep Posted April 25, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted April 25, 2015 DailyMotion, every episode is on there in HD. If you have the DailyMotion app, you'll be able to download them to your device too.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted May 14, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted May 14, 2015 Aerostar did a Canadian Destroyer off the top rope this week. It looked out of this world.
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted May 14, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted May 14, 2015 Melissa Santos is so beautiful it hurts. She alone is reason to watch. Luckily the shows are great too. I'd love it if Pentagon went back to kicking arse and snapping arms though. Dario Cuerto getting a drink after Alberto had been thrown through the window of his office was absolutely inspired. I'm glad Mil Muertes is coming back but I don't think another feud with Fenix is the way to go. But I have faith in Lucha Underground they'll make it good. Next week's ladder match is going to be AWESOME.
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted May 15, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted May 15, 2015 I know he has his critics but I thought Jack Evans looked great this week, he's a good fit for the show. First I've seen of him in years, he's certainly improved his look.
Paid Members Maverick Posted May 17, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted May 17, 2015 Is their another English language Lucha show I could watch every week? LU has really opened my eyes to what else is out there.
Paid Members Linus Posted May 17, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted May 17, 2015 There isn't, unfortunately. You'd be surprised how easy it is to watch the Spanish-language stuff, though. AAA upload their weekly TV to their YouTube channel - and you can use my reviews on (cheap plug) Steelchair to help you follow what's going on. Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted May 17, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted May 17, 2015 I'm really hoping the entire series of this gets released on DVD like MTV’s Wrestling Society X was.
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted May 17, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted May 17, 2015 I doubt there will be an official release due to the number of episodes but you'll probably be able to get a bootleg one at some point.
Vamp
AAA is pretty easy to follow even with the language barrier really. Any gaps can be explained by glancing at the luchablog. Quite a few people will be recognisable to you too. Apparently the World Cup ippv will have English commentary so that might be a good starting point. Triplemania probably will too. I'm not sure not understanding the language makes much difference with CMLL. You can't follow everything they do anyway, you'd lose interest very quickly, and most stories are pretty simple. There will be some baffling moments but that's just CMLL. They're a masochistic watch really. They have some great matches, they have some awful ones in the house style, and they have no interest in their televised product.
