xear
nodq.com  Todd Grisham is leaving WWE to take a job with ESPN. Grisham finished up with WWE at tonight's NXT taping. Here is what William Regal wrote on Twitter in regards to Grisham's departure:  "I would like to thank @todd_grisham for all his help get me through NXT.Best wishes for your new career at ESPN." Paid Members PunkStep Posted August 24, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted August 24, 2011 Didn't like him much. Now lets hope they get rid of Jack Korpela. I don't want him to have my fucking back. Scott Stanford is clearly the king of the WWE b-show.
Paid Members Ron Simmons Posted August 24, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted August 24, 2011 Not overly fussed about this, it's a good opportunity to give Scott Stanford more exposure. Or they could get the NXT dream team of CM Punk and Michael Cole back together. Nobody cares about the show, so heck, might as well unleash Cole on it. Paid Members FelatioLips Posted August 24, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted August 24, 2011 He's not great, but he's probably the best commentator on either show at the minute, because aside from Jim "may as well have stayed home" Ross, the rest are fucking poor. ThePhenom
That's a shame, I used to like him when he did The Experience with Ivory in parks every Sunday. That sort of come out wrong. Oh well.

dangerously420
It is a shame Todd Grisham is leaving WWE as he is one of the more talented in the backstage interview role. I met Todd twice on WWE tours I have been to over here and he was a sound guy to talk to. I wish him all the best at ESPN.
SteelEdge
This makes me a little sad. I've always liked Todd. Came across as a good bloke who was knowledgeable about the product and an underrated commentator as well.

Paid Members chokeout Posted August 24, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted August 24, 2011 Always thought he was good as the B show presenter. Saying that his alternative commentary on the Chris Benoit DVD was shit
DeanoTheGame
He was fucking abysmal and his commentary team with Matt Striker on Smackdown a few years back was probably the worst commentary duo I've ever heard. He seems like a nice guy, but good riddance. Josh Mathews is a million times better.
Paid Members mim731 Posted August 24, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted August 24, 2011 At least he's still got his career in crime fiction if the ESPN gig doesn't work out.
