The results have been in the original post since Sunday evening, while the table was divided between here and here a few hours later. Those are the usual links, in case anybody cares to check them before I round up the week here.

I was hoping to use this blurb to better explain the D2D to newbies, but that's been overtaken by another of the bonus point rules. After the low scoring of the first 2 rounds, I was wondering if we'd need it again, but this week was much more successful for most participants. Particularly for BushwhackerDel, who got 4 three-pointers, which means everyone else earns an extra point. This was another of Seph's rules designed to stop one person running away with the league. In practice I'm not sure if it works, since Del only finished one point ahead of El Espanacas (2nd highest scorer this time and still 2nd overall) and is not in danger of going clear at the top.

That honour remains with sivy, but he'd now only be one point in front without his week 1 bonuses. Two people were joint lowest scorers with a respectable 4 points, but it's Rory whose tactics don't seem to be working. He's amassed fewer points in 3 weeks than tom and The Miz have managed in 2.

So, a last-minute equaliser for Leeds at the Boleyn Ground means joe mills was wrong to back his own team at home. However, only 8 of a possible 23 other people bet against him, so the damage could've been worse. Elsewhere only TildeGuy - and Psygnosis in the Prem thread even though he doesn't play this - correctly guessed the result at Goodison Park, whilst Villa's win over Blackburn was almost universally foreseen. The draws in the Championship were good for at least a point for a lot of players, along with narrow home wins at St Mary's and across the pond. The stalemate in the first EPL game in Wales wasn't as fruitful though.

All right, another card coming up early tomorrow. Make the most of the relative calm of another D2D off-week before they come thick and fast with 4 in a row in September.
