'With Maximum Impact 2011 now just over 2 weeks away we are proud to announce a main event that is worthy of such a grand event. BT Gunn has been on fire since winning the title last February beating top names such as Paul Tracey, Jack Jester, James Scott plus many more. Maximum Impact 2011 though will see Gunn face his toughest challenge yet as a man who is no stranger to main event matches in PBW returns to PBW for the very first time this year. He is easily regarded as one of the very best heavyweight wrestlers in the world today having this past January made his debut for American giants TNA on their European tour. On October 22nd BT Gunn will square of against none other than Johnny Moss with the PBW title on the line. As if this match wasnt attractive enough already, PBW management have decided that the match will be a two out of three falls match meaning the first wrestlers to score two victories over their opponent will be declared the winner.

We can now announce that the final two matches have been signed for Maximum Impact 2011 giving fans in Irvine a total of 7 matches featuring no less than 26 wrestling stars from Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales and Germany.

6 MAN TAG TEAM CONTEST

Its no secret that 'Old Skool' Colin Mckay has it in for some of the younger wrestlers such as Davey Blaze and Chris Rampage. Recently at PBW's live event in Alloa Red Lightning and Jack Jester made it clear that they are backing the man who trained them as he tryes to teach 'these daft young lads a lesson in respect'. Blaze and Rampage have recruited another young wrestler who has broke out onto the UK wrestling scene in the last year and is one of the strongest wrestlers in Scotland today. At Maximum Impact 2011 it will be

'Old Skool' Colin Mckay, Red Lightning & Jack Jester vs Davey Blaze, Chris Rampage and Joe Coffey

SPWA SHOWCASE MATCH

Over the last 4 years the Scottish Pro Wrestling Academy has become one of the most respected schools in Europe with students wrestling all over The UK, Europe and even the USA. The SPWA has seen students tryout for WWE, work backstage at TNA, compete for Japanese company Dragon Gate, compete against big US names such as Kevin Nash not to mention students winning titles up and down the UK. With this in mind we have decided to host a bonus tag team match at Maximum Impact 2011 that will feature two of the more experienced students teaming with two men who have been working harder than ever over the last 12 months. On one team you will have Jamie Feerick teaming with newcomer JD Bravo who has recently broke out onto the Scottish scene. This team has the pefect combination of size and speed that will be needed as standing opposite them will be the team of TJ Rage and Scott Maverick managed by Charles Boddington. TJ is easily one of the most feared wrestlers in Scotland today. Add to that a man who in his debut year has wrestled across the UK and even made his debut in Denmark and you can see why that just this past September they challenged for the PBW tag team titles in Alloa and at points looked close to pulling of the upset.

Haven't been to a PBW show in ages. I've signed up for this one with it being part of the big weekender. Looks like a good card from top to bottom and looking forward to seeing what teh SPWA guys do on a bigger stage. They will surely be out to impress.
