Registration_Form
Yeah Clutch is proper fuckin music. Â Started off sinister wih 'Transnational..' but as the leads voice voice evolved after shouting "COME ON MOTHERFUCKER let's thrown down' a load they took more stoner direction and now more bluesy. I haven't listened to their last two albums a great deal but s/t and 'Elephant Rider' are amongst my favourite albums. Should have mentioned the riff to Elephant Riders (the song) in the 'best riffs' thread a while back. Brilliant, sloow groovy, riffs, catchy bassline and batshit vocals. Â Oh fuck I've got to listen to a load of Clutch now.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted July 22, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted July 22, 2011 Yeah, big fan. Im more into the stuff from 'Jam Room' onwards but i own all the albums. The older stuff for me is a little more awkward to listen too (although i know many find their self titled album to be their best), but they sound like a band trying to find their sound. Â I remeber seeing the band in Newport in 07 and having a harmonics player jam with them the whole set, tremendous.
