It was announced at the end that the main event will be Keith Myatt vs El Ligero in a traditional british wrestling match, think it's for the title too.

That will be a good one.

Is it a first time meeting as well? Can't recall seeing them fight each other elsewhere.

Seen James Mason three times now. Always good.

 Once again thanks for all the positive feedback guys

Going in to the show I knew it was a risk putting on the show after all trouble earlier in the week, but the show must go on as they say!

Despite a low turn out (and it wasn't disasterously low by any stretch of the imagination), there was a huge positive to take from it, in that there were a good many new faces in the crowd last night. Combine that with the apologetic messages of support from lots of the regulars who didn't want to risk it, I'm confident the PPW crowd will be back to its best next month.

For those that did make the trip out. Thank you very much. It was good to see some old and new faces from UKFF.

In results from the show:

- "The Natural" Nate Colt fought to a double DQ with Matt Pedin following interference from Lucas Black - 1 Evolution League point each.

- "Hellraiser" Brian Wright dft Viken

- "Adrenaline" Danny Chase dft Zero Tolerance

- "The Prodigy" Paul Malen dft "Wonderkid" Jonny Storm - NO DQ LUMBERJACK MATCH - Jonny Storm forced to leave PPW for good!!

INTERVAL

- James Mason dft "The Messiah" Brandon Thomas via Submission

- Lucian L. Jones dft Lord Graham Thomas III in a THREE WAY KISS MY FOOT MATCH (also feat. "Luscious" Lucas Black)

- Returning PPW Champion "The Mexican Sensation" El Ligero dft "The Prodigy" Paul Malen to retain his title.

- AFTER THE MAIN EVENT, KEITH MYATT CHALLENGED EL LIGERO TO DEFEND HIS CHAMPIONSHIP IN A WORLD OF SPORT MATCH ON SEPTEMBER 16TH IN WEST BROMWICH - EL LIGERO ACCEPTED

Points of note from the show:

- The Vampire Warrior once again received a warm welcome from the PPW crowd, including chants of "Bite Him". Viken has promised to avenge this defeat and says this is not the last time that darkness will fall over PPW.

- Jonny Storm's departature was shrouded in controversy as a mystery man wearing a replica of Paul Malen's mask attacked Storm, costing him the match and his PPW career. Storm took defeat with good grace and hung around after the show signing backstage passes and photos for the disappointed fans. PPW management will endeavour to find out who the mystery man was and punish him accordingly.

- James Mason and Brandon Thomas both made a big impression on their PPW debuts in a fine back and forth contest and PPW management will do what it can to ensure both men return very soon!

- Lucian L. Jones made a glorious return to PPW and to the West Bromwich Labour Club and the hometown boy was quickly entertaining the fans as only he can - including dragging a distraught Lord Graham Thomas III around the West Bromwich Labour Club to kiss the feet of the entire front row!

- Despite still clearly carrying an injury from the devastating assault at the hands of Paul Malen and Joseph Conners, PPW Champion El Ligero was successful in defending his title against Malen. A frustrated Malen left the Labour Club, but not before getting in the face of Chris, PPW Head Promoter, demanding he "make this right".

- At the end of the show "The Voice of PPW" Mark Adams revealed that World of Sport veteran Keith Myatt had issued a challenge to PPW Champion El Ligero to compete in a World of Sport rules match on September 16th in West Bromwich. El Ligero accepted.

I'll post the thread for the next show over the next few days. Thanks guys. Chris. PPW.
