xear
I thought this would make a good discussion  nodq.com  - Some of the wrestlers who TNA used at the set of Impact Wrestling tapings before Destination X who weren't regulars have noted they couldn't believe how bad morale is in the company. The consensus was that guys are just working for TNA to collect paychecks. People across the board were complaining about Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan and Vince Russo.  It's said that the roster has lost all confidence in Vince Russo, if they had any in him to begin with. The resentment against Hogan and Bischoff is that they have power but haven't seemed to come up with any good ideas on their own.  Most wrestlers on the roster will openly say that they wish TNA would have hired Paul Heyman last year so he could clean house of the guys who aren't helping the company.   Is Paul Heyman really more realible than Eric Bischoff? If so what dies he offer that makes him more trustworthy?
Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted July 16, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted July 16, 2011 Not quite sure what this has to do with UK Wrestling Events, but always interesting to hear what things are like backstage in TNA. Unfortunately, I think morale's been down for a couple of years now.
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted July 16, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted July 16, 2011 TNA wrestlers thinking Vince Russo isn't much cop is old news. Samoa Joes been suspended and buried for a good couple of years for speaking out. Â Meltzer briefly said on his podcast/radio show that morale is as bad as WCW in its last few years. Most of the talent can't be arsed and are going through the motions to collect a bit of money. I'd agree, Destination X wasn't what you'd expect. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted July 16, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted July 16, 2011 Why would anyone think Heyman could possibly turn TNA around? TNA is a television show. WWE has trouble trying to reinvent themselves to a relevent pop cultural audience. WWF's two biggest periods is when they exploited the steriod bodies of 1980s action movies and the MTV and Saturday Night Live genre which were both the order of the day in the Hulk Hogan era, and then they did it in the late 90s when the likes of black humour and fucked up things like South Park, X-Files and Howard Stern were at their height of popularity. Does a fat old smelly cunt like Heyman really know what people want in 2011? Just because he likes to pretend he's Dana White, doesnt make him Dana White. When Bischoff was at his height it was because he knew what America wanted, because he was young and full of fight. When Heyman made ECW the success it was, it was because he understood the need for something different, because he was young and knew how to create a nich
Cobra1000
Judging by CM Punks recent interview morale is bad in wwe too. Its no surprise morale is down in TNA, i can't imagine it being a fun place to work. Hopefully its getting better as the product is getting better recently. Paid Members Carbomb Posted July 16, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted July 16, 2011 I still say they should have signed JR. If morale's the problem, he's guy to sort it. And he wanted to be head of Talent Relations too - they're daft cunts for not recognising his ability in that role.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted July 16, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted July 16, 2011 Jim Ross wasnt planning on writing the show though. He wanted the role of real life general manager, head of talent relations, head commentator and about a thousand other jobs which would have made TNA 50 times better and healthier. Ross would have been the one responsable for finding the right man to book the promotion. I was all in favour of them signing JR. He would have been everything they needed. Shame really. RepoMan
Samoa Joes been suspended and buried for a good couple of years for speaking out. I thought he was 'buried' for being a fat unmotivated cunt, no?
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted July 16, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted July 16, 2011 I thought he was 'buried' for being a fat unmotivated cunt, no? The reason that happened was because he became fed up and started to eat his problems away. Vince Russo owes him a Weight Watchers coupon, the bugger. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted July 16, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted July 16, 2011 He's always been a fat bastard, though. Just now, he's more of a fat bastard. You cant blame Russo for that. Benoit, Malenko, Saturn and Guerrero walked out of six figure deals in a major wrestling promotion because of their treatment, but they never went on a strict diet of cake. Â I imagine Joe would have walked out years ago if he knew he'd walk straight into a tasty WWE contract. He unfortunately doesn't have the luxury The Radicalz had. Â Besides, the Radicalz were far too busy munching steroids to waste their effort eating cake. Well, except Malenko, obviously, who was too busy drinking Vodka-Martini's and eating pussy.
