Kiffy Posted July 12, 2011 Share Posted July 12, 2011 Yeah, the IWA stuff is a gang beating, without prior consent to the degree he'd be beaten up, obviously he was gonna get hurt, death match and stuff, but he got hurt alot more than he had previously agreed to. Whereas in those death films, people are being executed, and not just executed a bit more than they agreed to, executed when they hadn't agreed to any level of execution at all. And it's being put together in an exploitative fashion for people who either enjoy watching execution, which is basically murder, who either enjoy it or get some perverse about being able to stand watching it. Neither reasoning for watching people getting murdered is ok, and if you're ok with watching people being murdered, ya kinda can't judge the morality of somebody who watches people being beaten up. You're right in that it wasn't created to be snuff, but it's basically being marketed as that, so I'd say it's kind of a minor distinction. Just think that whatever his name is can't question richie's moral's for enjoying iwa if he watches traces of death, I think thats a fair point. As far as the porn vs wrestling thread, I don't really care that porns a more fucked up industry, or what happens to the people in it, not a moral guardian or anything, just pointed out there's no question of which is more fucked up. Now if you're discussing the notw stuff, well everyone's enjoying that. And I don't think I'm an expert on everything, if I don't know anything about a subject I tend not too speak on it too much, if it's something I do know a fair bit about, I'll stick me oar in. Highspots and Smart Marks own a majority of the great IWA-MS matches, the Necro Butcher matches, and a majority of the TOD and TPI matches. If you bought the IWA-MS tape libraries, you only be buying the rest of the crap. Â Ian is far and away one of the scummiest promoters in wrestling...just ask CM Punk, who is owed thousands of dollars. He canceled a tribute show to Rollin' Hard who was dying of cancer in order to do a tribute show for Mickie Knuckles for her broke leg. He also paid JC Bailey in pills in lieu of pay.
