According to the link above, Hulk Hogan has announced that in August Impact Wrestling will be taken on the road.

I think this is great news for TNA; Larger audiences, something new and possibly could lead to a TV Taping in the UK next time round. They should start making more money now so it's good to see that they're looking to improve as the Impact Zone was old news and they should've of been out of there a few years a go.

I enjoy the Use of Capital Letters Inappropriately.

Impact definitely needs to go on the road as much as possible, it suffers from being trapped in that awful studio in Orlando. Then again, if it screws the company up financially it might not be a great idea. I suppose we'll see in due course.

On his Twitter, Hulk Hogan claimed that IMPACT Wrestling tapings will be held on road every other taping starting in August of this year.

2 off road, 2 impact zone. Much better than all impact zone :)

It's not the end of the Impact Zone entirely according to that article - it says 'every other week'.

Thats better than nothing though. Hopefully if its a profitable experiment, they can phase the Impact Zone out altogether. Wrestling was meant to take place in an arena, infront of real people.

How are TNA North America house show attendances these days?

I can't help but feel they'll struggle to get a reasonable amount of people into the smallest of venues that could facilitate TV production.

This is solely based on attending a show in Orlando, and from early afternoon passing by several TNA/Universal representatives pushing for people to take free tickets.

epends where they go. Soetimes they can be as low as 500, sometimes a couple of thousend. Powerslam usually post attendence figures in their house show results round-up

Well this is great news for TNA, I have been waiting for this to happen for a long long time. Hopefully they use that awesome new set on the show that they used on the Impact with Sting's Undertaker spoof return. I really hope it works out well for them though, it's not worth it if it's just going to drain all of their money away.

Well, yeah. It doesn't mean they have money that they can just burn though, what are they going to get out of that? Hopefully it won't come to that anyway, and they will do alright from it.

It's been needed to happen ever since PPV's went on the road. The morons in the IZ seem to think they are owed something, hence constantly shitting over the product. Hope this all works out for TNA as I would love to not have to watch that inbred girl, the guy with the beard, black guy in the suit, black guy with a suidice t-shirt as much as I have been.

I wish the Impact Zone was better. I was watching some old WCW Worldwide, and a few of their matches take place in that small arena (think it's a TV studio) - dunno why, but I rather like it as a "counter-space" to the bigger matches; gives the shows a bit more texture, I think.
