22 is one shy of the number of clubs with academies. They've all been fucked over.

I took this off my tweets last night. FL teams with academies: Charlton, Palace, Ipswich, Pompey, Southampton, West Ham, Birmingham, Bristol City, Cardiff, Coventry, Leicester, MK Dons, Reading, Watford, Crewe, Barnsley, Derby, Huddersfield, Leeds, Boro, Forest, Sheff Wed and Sheff Utd. 23 teams.

We don't know which way he voted, and he's not going to publicly say he opposed the system and turn down the custom, is he?

It doesnt really matter, Glos County Cricket Club, hated him and wanted him out for being a cunt, and the opinion on Ziderheads isnt much better either. No one can stand the fucker because he is such a cunt.

That may have blighted things to be sure, but he is all about 'the brand' and not always having the best interests of the club at heart. His previous role at the club bore testament to that, and the scrapping in the press with Millen over transfer fees just added to it, among other things. He isnt well liked.

PS Seth, it says in the BCFC article you linked that we voted for the proposal.

If only,

We had one of them fan, first team photo things that Adidas demanded of their sponsored teams this season. Afaik every team bar us used their home strip for said photo. We used our 'new' away strip ( Ie the Scotland Away strip) for this, alienating many fans because at that point they couldn't even buy a home kit, and the away kit is yellow and BLUE (the colours of our supposed city rivals, Bristol Rovers) For many years, the away kit has been White and Red, opposite what we have now or Yellow and Green. Only once afaik have we had a tinge of blue in the kit in recent times and that was our 3rd kit c.2000

The fan photo thing doubled up as allowing entry to the Q&A with the then Manager and Chairman as part of the pre season open day. Effectively to attend the Q&A you would have had to buy a brand new away strip in order to be able to attend, and that went for every one in your party, kids, partners etc. So people were looking at

We were awful on Saturday but it was worth it in the end for the last minute winner. The last time I can remember us getting a stoppage time winner at home is 2004 so we were due one!

Shitty coverage on the football league show. We weren't in the first batch of highlights, despite being joint 4th and then they bang on about how few goals we've scored and ignore the fact we're 8 unbeaten and just about the form team in the division. Bah.

The Football League Show is getting beyond a joke. Palace are fucking third and yet they act like they're mid-table. Blackpool/Forest gets five minutes and we have to put up with Steve Claridge's anti-punditry. The format needs to change. I discussed it with friends yesterday and a suggestion was made that they have a game of the day per division plus a round up. If they keep it as it is, it needs a much larger number of pundits to stay informed about all the teams.

So yeah, there are a few issues that rankle and that's before you get to the on field stuff, which at present is a joke

Jesus, delusions of grandeur. Very sad as a few years ago, City were considered the model of a well-run outfit.

It's plainly a pro-relegated Prem team bias, even if that team was a Champ team for four years prior to that stint.

Coppell and the fallout soon shat that out.

Since we dropped into this league, it has been my favourite, and that included the two years we were in League One. It's great to watch, it's great entertainment, it's hearty, honest football, and it's not the money powered demon the Premier League has become.
