We was robbed yesterday in the top of the table clash.

We cruised through the first half, show Ross County for the average side they are, and took a well deserved lead, then the ref somehow manages to justify a straight red for Stephen O'Donnell's perfect tackle just before half time. The county LB has the ball at the half way line, O'D runs in at full pace, sliding tackles, takes the ball off the pitch with him, doesn't touch any players, and see's a straight red.

We end up holding to half time and deciding to park the bus, which worked for 80 minutes until McMenamin manages to stop a poor effort and safely slots it away. Rab Douglas pulled out another wonder save late on, but over-all I can't help but feel like over-zealous officiation cost us the 3 points and closing the gap.

That said, County will drop many points come the end of the season as they are average at best IMO.

Motherwell 1 St Mirren 1

A decent game, in which neither side really deserved to lose so a point each was the right result. The referee (Calum Murray) was horrific. St Mirren's goalscorer, Jim Goodwin, punched Jennings in the stomach right in front of him and didn't even get spoken to. He got booked in the first 15 minutes of the match and went in for wild tackles all game without any kind of action being taken.

Apart from that though, it was a good game. If you get the chance, watch Goodwin's goal. It was a screamer.

Didn't know he was still with Dundee. Still blame him for the UEFA Cup Final in 2003. He still shutting his eyes at every opportunity?

Average at best is good enough to win this league at a canter.

Disagree, I'd put Falkirk and ourselves as teams who try to pass the ball, the majority of the other sides are hammer throwers, QoS especially. If County win this league i'll be amazed.

Safe standing sections could be introduced in the Scottish Premier League, following the approval of a plan to allow top flight clubs to pilot the idea.

Following a meeting of the 12 member clubs on Monday, a vote was passed to amend current rules stating all SPL grounds must be all-seater.

The SPL board will now have the ability to approve any request made by a club to pilot a standing area, subject to further approval from the police and local authorities.

Just read that Kris Boyd's quit Eskisehirspor after not being paid since he signed.

Could be interesting. Boyd's been poor since he left us (he played only 76 minutes in Turkey) and I don't see many teams in England going in for him. McLeish is usually linked with him but Boyd's no way good enough for Aston Villa.

With Naismith injured and Rangers being so shite in front of goal recently, I could see a return being a good move for both of him and the Club. Though I still think he's half the player without Kenny Miller alongside him.

Can anyone really see this as making much of a difference? The problem with the product is that on the park it's pretty dire, it's nothing to do with stadiums.

Football isn't just about what happens on the park though. The shittiest games can be made bearable by a good atmosphere.

Besides, converting a stadium to "safe terracing" has to be cheaper than converting to all seated, which will mean teams chasing Promotion from the First Division won't have to spend so much getting their Stadium up to snuff.

He was just laying down a marker....
