Stylin_and_Profilin Posted May 31, 2012 Share Posted May 31, 2012 It looked like one of those pre-season games where one teams been on a intense programme for weeks and the other is just in the early throws after a long summer lay off. Utterly shambolic. Â Having said the the way USA pressed the ball all over the pitch was incredible. Normally see that for 15-25 minutes if your lucky then players tire a little but they went hammer and tongs for the full duration and given the heat and humidity was pretty remarkable. Levein singling out Scott Brown for pass marks sums up a lot of our Scottish mentality as all he did was run around niggling players and noising people up when he didn't have the ball and not much when he did have it. Stylin_and_Profilin Posted June 4, 2012 Share Posted June 4, 2012 Not sure how broad the "lifestyle" story encompasses though because although Thompson was out all the time in the west end so were Lennon and Parker and, to a lesser extent, Mjallby. No big deal though, they kept themselves to themselves and just minded their own business and never got any bother. That being said they are all with wifes/partners and Thompson aint so there could be something in the above.
