denzel_maggiore
In future just cancel your direct debit so that Orange or whoever can't take no cash from your account. They will be quick to get in contact with you then you can explain that TalkTalk were fucking about it and leave the issue with them to resolve. Â TalkTalk are shit though, know someone who worked for them as well and someone else who has had issues contacting them as they haven't been able to connect for weeks. Â You may as well send a recorded letter outlining your issues, get your money back and join another ISP and fuck off TalkTalk altogether, if they say your in a contract then tell them that your unhappy and that they haven't offered you a proper service, they will cancel and just let it go. Orange weren't in the wrong, TalkTalk were (or so it seems). By stopping payment to Orange you risk them chasing up the debt and a black mark on your credit file. Â Works for me and is something you should do anyway if your not planning on any monthly payments coming out of your account anymore. Failing that its maybe best to follow up with a call to Orange to begin with to notify them that no payments should be coming out of your account. Â Problem with these companies is they are quick enough to contact you when they want a payment (which is fair enough) but will piss you about when you've got an issue or complaint, I find its better off just doing things directly, cancelling any direct debits or payments and deal with these people as and when they contact me, even more so if they got a shit customer service team who don't communicate and get back to you quickly. Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted May 27, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted May 27, 2011 THAT is the right way to do it. Tell Orange first, make sure they have the notification required in the T&Cs you signed up to. Never, ever assume that a company will actually do as it says.
