Paid Members Surf Digby Posted April 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted April 18, 2011 It's a sort of football-themed bastard offspring of marbles and tiddlywinks. At one point (probably about 20 years ago), it was pretty big, and aswell as getting teams in official strips, you could also get stadiums, buildings, supporters, etc.. and you'd build it up like a train set. Â People paint them in the same way that some people paint Hasbro WWF figures.

Slapnut
I can't be the only person to not have a clue what this is? Â Ever heard of Subbuteo? Â No, but upon Googling it I'm assuming it's a hobby or something to paint them up? Â Are you joking? Â No, not joking, but clearly I didn't look hard enough. Loki
Scalextric was only good if you got a decent amount of track, with bridges and banked corners and all that shit. It was basically for kids of rich parents, where you'd go round their house and they'd have every fucking toy known to man including a Skalextric circuit that was 600 ft long and built into its own shed with fake trees and grandstands and all that.
