Paid Members Fatty Facesitter Posted April 20, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted April 20, 2013 I'm crazy busy so how much of it I'll actually see I don't know. Love snooker though. Not sure about Ronnie's chances purely because of how little competitive action he's seen over the last year or so. But on the flipside, an extended break away from the game might reinvigorate him to the point where he's unstoppable. Who knows?
King Coconut
Ebdon's been practising with him and bigging his game right up. Got to agree with you though, competitive action is where it's at.
Briefcase
I don't know if anyone is watching this years finals but as a casual fan I was wondering if there is a time limit? Do they have to do X amount of frames per day or does it all have to finish by a certain time?
Fog Dude
They have to play 17 frames today, which guarantees at least 1 frame on the Monday even in the event of an ultra one-sided final. Tomorrow it ends as soon as someone has an unassailable lead. It takes as long as needed, and has famously gone on past midnight before.

westlondonmist
Reading about how Neil Robertson has said he has gotten better after his battle with addiction to video games. What the fuck?????? Next we're going to hear that Jimmy lost so many finals due to addiction to Toblarone.
Guest
Anyone who's had the Tetris dream will attest to the way a videogame can get its hooks into a region of your brain that deals with specific problem solving tasks. So you can sort of see how the kind of mind that excels at snooker (obsessing over angles, etc) could become addicted to certain games that stimulate and reward the same parts of the brain. Paid Members Chilly McFreeze Posted April 21, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted April 21, 2017 I kinda get a kick out of slow boring players beating young cocky upstarts like Trump. It's what makes Snooker fascinating to watch.
