Under the ring there are normally two suspension straps that do diagnally across the ring and act as suspension, sounds like one of those came loose, snapped. That would weaken the whole ring infrastructure like you mentioned. Hope everyones ok.

This is exactly what happened. One of them let go and spun itself back instantly going loose. No damage thankfully and mo one was hurt due to it. All credit to both Cameron and joey who continued the match and managed a cracking bout. Speedy recovery is indeed wished for juice

I missed the second half due to having to rush over to Hull for a friends birthday, so missed the Banks/Ligero and Joey/Kraze match, which is a shame as I really wanted to be able to see Ligero/Banks and was hoping it'd be on pre-intermission.

Wish a speedy recovery to CJ

Great heat in the first half, wish I could have been around for the 2nd and wish I could be around for the next event. But it's my Graduation Ball so I can't complain too much.

Full review:

Just over a week ago, DPW returned to the beautiful Osset Town Hall, in front of a red-hot audience of nearly 400 people, for our 4th show of the year!

The evening began with the introduction of the brand new DPW Tag Team Champions, the oddball tag team of Mad Man Manson and Martin Kirby, who had truimphed over El Ligero and Bingo Ballance in a superb Tournament Final the previous month. This was the pair's first defence of the gold, and the two men showed more tag team coherency than ever, as they successfully retained against the underhanded Myatt Legacy. In an unusual turn of events, as Kirby pinned Keith Myatt, his son Ryan dropped off the apron and walked to the back immediately, not waiting for his father.

After the match, Kirby addressed Manson, and informed him that, whilst he had initially been forced to team with the lunatic due to a stipulated loss at 2 Years Old in 2010, over the past few months, he had grown to enjoy teaming with Triple M, and he finally admitted that not only did he accept Manson as his partner, but more importantly, as a friend.

During this time, Stevie Aaron was handed a note, and it was announced that it was now time to reveal the NEW DPW General Manager. When a familiar face came through the curtain, it became no surprise that the GM had revealed this particular time. That man was former referee (and in fact, Kirby's own personal official) Ricc Dombrowski. Ricc claimed that DPW was 'his house' and that his time was now. Dombrowksi addressed Kirby, claiming that when they used to be friends, they had a common goal, to eliminate all comedy and antics from DPW, yet now Kirby had become what he used to hate...a joke. Dombrowski claimed that one of his main goals under his new management position is to make the Tag Team Champion's lives a living hell.

The action contined as Dylan Roberts scored his first DPW win in a back-and-forth bout with the returning Matt Myers. These 2 men, who were part of the sterling 4-Way Dance from 3 Years Old put on another great encounter before Roberts used the ropes to his advantage for a pinfall victory.

Before the interval, it was time for the new DPW British Champion Colossus Kennedy to make his first defence. Kennedy upended Cameron Kraze in a violent Last Man Standing Match the previous show, however no opponent had been announced for this evening. Once again, DPW GM Ricc Dombrowski, with his PA Miss EnNoir appeared, and he announced that he had hand-selected Colossus' first challenge. Dombrowski hyped up the challenger with great aplomb, only to then reveal young underdog Robbie X, who was clearly in over his head. Despite showing guts and determination as per usual, Robbie was quickly dispatched with a monstrous Chokeslam.

However, Dombrowski still wasn't done, and he informed Kennedy that he would be making a second defence of the gold, as the bitter authority then chose a random crew member as the opponent! The young man lasted 3 seconds in the ring, as another vicious Chokeslam easily put him away. After the bell, Kennedy hooked the innocent victim up for a second ride, but the 2 men who would meet later on in the night, Joey Hayes and Cameron Kraze luckily made the save.

After the break, El Ligero defeated CJ Banks with a surprise Rollup, after Banks suffered a severe hip injury during the course of the action. Despite the abrupt ending, these 2 men put on a wonderful technical display in the early goings, and it's a shame that injury struck when it did. Banks has already been on the phone to DPW Management, claiming that this loss be stricken from the record, as he wasn't physically fit to continue, and that his Submission Streak is still intact.

So we came to the main event, a Number 1 Contenders Match to determine who would face Colossus Kennedy at DPW August Anarchy 2011. The bout would be contested between 2 very popular fan favourites, Joey Hayes and Cameron Kraze. Certainly, the audience appeared to be divided as the match wore on, but the deeper and deeper in we got, the crowd seemed to side more with Hayes, leaving Kraze slightly frustrated. After over 20 minutes of incredible action, it was Hayes who picked up the duke with his Well High Crossbody. After the bell, both men embraced to the roar of the crowd, as Hayes moves onto the huge Championship challenge in August!
