Good show.

Sean Maxer df. Andy Wild

Sean Maxer was pretty good. He has a decent look and had no problems getting the crowd into a frenzy, although Charles Boddington was on top form. He even seemed a bit over the top at times, which was good. Had to laugh at the fan that shouted "Bunch of arseholes!" when Boddington, Rage and Wild were all just standing in the ring. Looks like we could be getting a fact turn from Andy Wild which is all good. Decent enough opening match, although the ending Splash looked a bit dodgy.

Jack Jester kills Johnny Starr

I like super-aggressive Jester. Especially when he's in there with a pure bump machine like Johnny Starr. This was a quality match. Probably would have been the MOTN on most shows.

Lionheart and Wolfgang df. The Final Cut to win the PBW Tag Team Titles.

But it isn't most shows, and once again, tag team wrestling rules the day in PBW, and these two teams put on a cracker. No real surprise because any combination of those four guys against each other is bound to be great. There was one exchange in particular from Noam and Lionheart that was amazing. The ending also gives us Noam vs. Liam in the future which will obviously rock.

Blaze N Rampage df. Red Lightning and Colin McKay

This was actually pretty good. Chris Rampage continues to impress the shit out of me, and I've already made my feelings clear on how good I think Davey Blaze is. I was wondering during the match if they will be the next team to shoot for the tag gold.

Chaos df. Sean South

I was disappointed by this quite a bit. There was nothing wrong with it but it just felt flat. Didn't help that the audience didn't give a toss what was going on for the most part either.

BT Gunn df. James Scott to retain the PBW Title.

The ending of this one was just bizarre, as they COMPLETELY lifted the finish from Piper/Hart, with ref bump, faked bell shot sleeper and counter for the win. Cracking main event though before that.

It's the usual belter of a show from PBW.

Results & Thoughts

Started of with a neat video package of previous Breaking Limits events

Sean Maxer def Andy Wild w/Charles B & TJ R

Decent opener with TJ's interference backfired to help Sean win

Post match tensions Rose between TJ & Andy but Bodders separated them (hopefully leads to Andy going solo to wrestle in cracking matches in future)

Jack Jester def Johnny Starr

A match with great incorporation of styles with Starr's High Flying & Jester's Dark Ground with Jester finishing Johnny off with a Piledriver

Liondeart & Wolfgang def Final Cut w/Carmel (PBW Tag Team Championship)

predictable but compelling match with Noam playing the good sportsmanship card leading to the downfall of the final cut

Past match Carmel & Liam turned on Noam (predictably) & Liam dished out a Backstabber for good measure

Blaze n' Rampage def Colin McKay & Red Lightning

Neat little match with a Double Suplex on Red was the difference (disappointed that Colin got away Scot-Free given his antics in past months)

Post match Red confronted Mr Hemphill

Chaos def Sean South

Solid match with Chaos taking the low road to victory

BT Gunn def James Scott (PBW Heavyweight Championship)

Cracking match between the two & My MOTN.

Maxer burst Andy Wild's bubble

Good all round match - Wild has some great moves (technically sound as usual) but was up against a well-fired-up Maxer. Bodders and TJ brought some unexpected OTT humour and I nearly had to made an unexpected trip to the toilet when the barrage of inflatable hammers rained in. IMHO TJ scares me. Would be good to see TJ and Wild go heads up. Sean Maxer was pretty good and I think we will see a lot more of him.

Jack Jester gives Johnny Starr the beat down.

The high flying Starr was on paper no real match for Jester, he just loves to fight, but Starr almost sneaked another win. Jester is a first class heel (and a scarey look for young and old). This match had it all - except a masked man.

Lionheart and Wolfgang destroyed The Final Cut to win the PBW Tag Team Titles.

This was an obvious card winner, the experience of Lionheart and Wolfgang was just too much for young Noam (fae Ayr). Would like to see if Noam does become a face as he is a cracking heel.

Blaze N Rampage run riot over Red Lightning and Colin McKay

The young guns really give it laldie. Just wish they kept the lights out as the Highlander's face was scaring the wanes. The aerialbatics of Blaze n Rampage just edged the ground work of Lightning and McKay. And in the end the real good guys won and they must, must be due a chance at the Tag titles.

Chaos df. Sean South

This was a good match but the crowd were lost in it. Except team Southy. I actually think Chaos hit the lights on the ceiling at one point. What about a danish double helping of Chaos and Bad Bones v ????

BT Gunn edged James Scott to retain the PBW Title.

Now this just says class all the way, two of the top marks in PBW going toe to toe. The melee out onto the arena was awesome - pretty sick. The ending of this one as bizarre as golddust's ring attire. James Scott appeared to be well on top then with the ref and BT flat out on the mat, collected the bell and just as he was going to lay it on BT guilt came over him and he dropped it, just as BT dropped him. Awesome awesome bouncebackability ending.

Outstanding show all round, great crowd, great venue, great day in Largs - what more could you ask for.

It's the usual absolute belter of a show from PBW - I for one was at Langside for the first ever PBW and the show just keeps getting better.

Taken from pbwwrestling.com

'Saturday night saw PBW return to The Vikingar in Largs as we presented our annual Breaking Limits show. With this being our fifth year anniversary show it was allways going to be wall to wall action from the start to finish. Perhaps not quiet as busy as last years event but the 200 plus fans in attendance created the best live atmosphere of the year so far. Full results were as follows:

SEAN MAXER BT ANDY WILD WITH CHARLES BODDINGTON & TJ RAGE. An impressive debut for Sean Maxer saw Wild pick up his first defeat since the introduction of TJ Rage as his enforcer. After the match it looked for a second as if Wild and Rage were about to fall out in a big way only for Boddington to calm things down. One has to wonder though if the foundations of the group are beginning to crack already.

JACK JESTER BT JOHNNY STAR. A true clash of wrestling styles which proved to work very well on the night saw fan favourite Star give it his all against the much larger more aggressive Jester. A lot of big moves and back and forth action between the two men although it was Jester that was to be victorious on his Breaking Limits debut beating Star with a tombstone piledriver.

PBW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH - LIONHEART & WOLFGANG BT THE FINAL CUT WITH CARMEL TO BECOME NEW PBW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS. This was clearly a match that many of the PBW fans had came to see which showed the minute all 4 men made their entrance. The crowd was ready for a battle and thats exactly what they got as these 4 men threw everything at each other in what can only be described as a tag team masterclass. The final 5 minutes had the whole crowd on the edge of their seats and when Lionheart finally hit the frogsplash for the win, the noise in the Vikingar was insane. After the match Noam Dar and Liam Thomson showed their frustration shouting at each other. Just when it appeared Carmel was to play peace maker she hit Dar with a cheap low blow which allowed Thomson to put a beating on Dar. PBW management have yet to here from either of the former PBW tag team champions but will be sure to let the fans know as soon as we do.

BLAZE & RAMPAGE BT 'OLD SKOOL' COLIN MCKAY & RED LIGHTNING. Another superb tag team contest which finally gave Blaze & Rampage a chance at revenge after Mckays 5 month reign of terror on the SPWA students. It is what occured after the match that has became one of the main talking points of the show. Blaze & Rampage were celebrating their victory with good friend and actor Greg Hemphill which must have touched a nerve with Lightning and Mckay as when MC tommy went to announce the fifth match of the evening they came back out from the lockerroom area to confront Mr Hemphill. With securtiy rushing over to prevent an unfortunate situation occuring it was Hemphill who took matters into his own hands by chasing Red Lightning and Colin Mckay away to the delight of the PBW crowd.

CHAOS BT SEAN SOUTH. The next match was an international heavyweight contest as Denmark's Chaos took on Irish fighter Sean South. A hard hitting back and fourth match which was eventually won by Chaos. Chaos has since emailed PBW managment demanding a title shot at some point this year. More on this situation as we get it.

PBW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - BT GUNN BT JAMES 'DARKSIDE' SCOTT TO RETAIN. A truely awesome main event to finish of an awesome show. With both men huge fan favourites the crowd was pretty mixed in support for this one. These two brawled all over the Vikingar with Gunn even diving of the balcony onto Scott and 3 PBW staff who just seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. After nearly 20 minutes of all out action it was BT Gunn that countered Scotts sleeper hold into a pin to retain his title in Largs. A show of respect after the match with both men shaking hands earned a standing ovation from the PBW fans.

Breaking Limits 6 was by far one of the best live events Scotland has seen in recent years and for that we want to thank all the wrestlers, staff and more importantly all the great fans who attened the event in Largs and continued to support PBW and British wrestling. As allways official PBW photographer David Wilson was on hand to capture all the madness and we cant wait to get the pictures uploaded in the next few days. Fans will also have noticed that Strangeworx were back in action filming the event for DVD and Blu Ray release. We expect the DVD to be on sale this June. Fans will be able to purchase it online right here at www.pbwwrestling.com. Also a huge thanks to Brain Buster productions for their excellent work on the music videos that were used on the night.'
