TNA already making plans to bring back Jeff Hardy

When was Shawn Michaels as ever bad as Jeff Hardy were at Victory Road, though?

He was worse that Jeff Hardy at the Smackdown tapings in February 2001. Michaels was set to wrestle Triple H at Backlash 2001 and guest referee the Undertaker vs HHH match at Mania, but he was fired for yelling at McMahon and Triple H and passing out on the floor. Michaels was on the death pool list before he became a born again. Just because WWF didnt send him out to the ring, doesnt mean he was in better shape than Hardy.

Wasn't that the Raw on the night of the last Nitro? I thought he said that in his book. I feel sorry for Jeff's wife and baby as well, that kid is gonna grow up knowing how out of it his dad was, on live TV.

People saying Hardy isn't money to TNA are utterly being short sighted, he was the highest merch sell in 2009 (or just behind Cena), in TNA as stated earlier in the thread he rakes in a fortune doing the appearances, photos after the bell, t shirts, autographed items, caps, hats, especially as his fan base is young teenagers with parents money to spend. He shifts a lot more than Sting and Angle I'd imagine.

This is probably true, though it should be pointed out that TNA aren't exactly known for maximising their revenue streams. Compared to WWE, they've barely got any merchandise out, and they should be putting out shelfloads of the stuff where both Hardys, Sting, Angle, Anderson, Hernandez and perhaps Kendrick are concerned. They should've done it with Pope, but that ship's sailed now he's turned heel and crapola.

I'm sure they'll survive. After all, the children of a ton of film stars, every single 60s and 70s rock musician and George Best don't seem too traumatised by the experience.

Yeah, Charlie Sheen seems fine.

I'm pretty sure Martin Sheen never did anything crazy, has nothing to do with Charlies antics, or Emilos for that matter

You mean apart from his massive cocaine addiction all during Charlie Sheen's childhood?

EDIT: may have been heroin, yes.

Thought it was heroin? Either way, Martin doesn't really have a leg to stand on, which is probably why he's kept relatively quiet about Charlie.

Emilio seems to have turned out OK, though. Of course, now I've said that, it'll emerge next week that he's "the quiet one" and has murdered prostitutes and schoolgirls*.

*Disclaimer: most likely not true.

Emilio is like Matt Hardy though. He probably does do drugs and is a massive fuck up, but nobody is really bothered about him compared to his more famous brother. Unlike the Hardy's, the Estevez/Sheen clan has some great hair in that family.

Not according to "Being John Malkovich".

Talking of which, I reckon Charlie and John have finally found a child into whose head they can transfer - that whole "dying's for fools" makes me wonder...

Charlie Sheen's had a fair few perks out of having a celebrity drug addict for a parent as well to even out the negatives - the never-ending supply of money, sex and acting work can't suck that much. You take the rough with the smooth, and judging by the number of porn stars he seems to be acquainted with, I'd say he's had a fair bit of smooth.

This reminds me of the hilarious story of him catching up with Jericho and repeatedly saying "I cant believe they made you Doink! You should never have let make you be Doink!" etc, so out of it he didnt realize it was just a one night angle.

Well, I thought it was hilarious.

That story from Undisputed had me in stitches. Michaels really did a good job of returning to godlike status in the WWE.

Give him a chance to get clean. Go to rehab. Fine him, suspend him. Basically show him what he did was wrong. They cant just turn a blind eye.

With respect, that just ain't going to happen. The guy doesn't want to get clean because he's still using the same old substances for so long now. He ain't never going to change without help, and if his brother, close friends, TNA etc can't save him, then there isn't a lot you can do. He's got to come to his senses before it's really too late.

I like the guy, he's put his body on the line for so long now, you can tell he's in a lot of pain from injuries, his body is broke. I hope he makes it, but if TNA just let him come back into the main event scene, then that says even more about this company than what's already known out there. They have to take this by the scruff of the neck and help the guy every step of the way. If it takes X amount of months jail pending, then do the right thing and give him the support he needs.
