The Reverend
The 'Tribute' to the Tupelo Concession Stand Brawl with Nasty Boys / Harlem Heat. Â Put me down for the Chamber of Horrors too. Â And what about all those awful WWF style characters in 1991 like Firebreaker Chip, Arachnaman, PN NEWS, Bad Blood etc.

thejeffjarrettone
Why has nobody mentioned Ric Flair getting buried (literally) in the desert then turning up in a mental asylum, only to have Roddy Piper (IIRC) "bail him out". Yes, because mental problems are cured by bail money......

Yes, because mental problems are cured by bail money...... Roddy Piper put him in the mental asylum to become president. The Filthy Animals buried him in the desert. Dusty Rhodes booked the asylum angle. Vince Russo booked the desert.
vealster
What about when the Ultimate Warrior was clearly visible in a mirror but Eric Bischoff tried to put over the fact that he was inivisible. Â But because none of the comentators knew about this angle (as was apparently the way in WCW at the time) the only person on the planet who couldn't see Warrior was Easy E it made him look a right cock! spotlightmagnet1
Glacier was class when he was re-introduced in 2001. As Norman Smiley gets the crap kicked out of him Glacier comes out slowly cutting a hero promo and high fiving fans. The heels get bored and leave and then Glacier takes credit for it. I liked it. Â Hogan throwing Giant off a roof only for him to come back later perfectly fine was fucking stupid. Â Oklahoma. Â Ernest Miller and Disco Inferno fighting to keep dancing, but the stip pulled on the ppv.
Paid Members CleetusVanDamme Posted March 11, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted March 11, 2011 Chucky vs Rick Steiner Chucky did cut a decent promo though. That one came to mind, along with the Power Bomb being banned because Kevin Nash tried to intentional injure Giant. Erm, what?   That was GREAT tv!, they banned the powerbomb because it broke Giants neck, but Nash would still come out and give people Jackknifes every week and get led away in cuffs, He didn't give a fuck because he had Hogan to pay his fines for him. I think it got quietly dropped in the end, great while it lasted though.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted March 11, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted March 11, 2011 Sting got the Power Bomb lifted because he wanted no excuses when he beat Nash. Sting would join the Wolfpac some weeks later. See they did think ahead sometimes.

Loki
Vito's evil brother came in to persecute Vito. I'm amazed anyone thought enough of Vito to hire someone to play his brother. Â Also, that insane angle with all the wrestlers dressed like Mortal Kombat characters. Bizarre.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted March 11, 2011 Moderators Share Posted March 11, 2011 Also, that insane angle with all the wrestlers dressed like Mortal Kombat characters. Bizarre. Ric Flair's Divorce Lawyer
It has to be when The Giant fell from the top of a tall building and was back 20 minutes later - with barely a scratch on him!! That was proper funny.
Moderators PowerButchi Posted March 11, 2011 Moderators Share Posted March 11, 2011 While I had a bit of a soft spot for Harlem Heat 2000 that whole angle was a bit daft. Especially Harlem Heat 2000 holding the rights to the letter "T".
