XWA War on the Shore VII - Quick round up!

Monday, 06 June 2011 21:20

XWA War on the Shore VII has been consigned to the history books! It was another fantastic show from the XWA with drama and controversy, and some memorable happenings...

Here are the full results from the show held at The Carleton in Morecambe on Saturday, June 4:

Jynkz pinned Ricky J McKenzie. El Ligero then saved Jynkz from a post-match attack by RJM.

Johnny Phere pinned Joel Redman after a Ram Slam. Afterwards, The Authority brutally beat down Phere, The Ascension even busting 'The Psychotic Warrior' open with a shot with the XWA Title. David Deville rounded off this vicious beating by delivering a frog splash to Phere.

'RockStar' Spud and Stallion had a confrontation, during which Spud fired Stallion and disbanded Team RockStar. Spud then goaded an angry Stallion into admitting that he had devised the plan to ban Sam Slam. This brought out Sam Slam, then Cyanide, and led to Sam Slam v Cyanide. Sam pinned the 400lb Toxic Terror after a phenomenal F-5 on the gargantuan giant!

Jenny Sjodin defeated Britani Knight by submission to lift the Pro Wrestling:EVE Title in a groundbreaking and historic women's match, which was many observers' pick as match of the night.

The Blackpool Blonds upset Joey Hayes and El Ligero after RJM passed Axl Rage a metal chain, which he used to hit Ligero. The Blonds then used their new double-team finisher The Blackpool Tower and pinned 'The UK Luchador'. Earlier, Declan O'Connor had failed to show up for his scheduled reconciliation talks with Joey Hayes.

'The Heavyweight House of Pain' Stixx defeated David Deville by disqualification in a gripping and controversial match where Deville, the FWA Champion, was also defending the XWA Title on behalf of The Ascension. Deville was disqualified just seconds after suffering a Stixx Bomb, when referee James Poyner came to and red carded Deville for an earlier assault on the official by The Ascension. After the match The Authority beat down Stixx and Sam Slam, until Johnny Phere made the save. Afterwards, The Ascension challenged Stixx, Slam and Phere to a Power Game six-man tag match at XWA Last Fight at the Prom on Saturday October 8, where if The Authority wins Sam Slam must sign over his 50% stake in XWA to The Authority, but if the heroes win then whoever scores the pinfall will receive an XWA Title shot.
