Paid Members Fatty Facesitter Posted February 13, 2011 Paid Members Posted February 13, 2011 All for this, there's several interesting ways you could go with it with regards to how the father and son duos interact with each other. You've got your unappreciative brats, plucky babyface youngsters following in their Dad's footsteps in a tribute style act, a heel tandem where the father manages the boy to victories and other potential outlets for them to look at. Sounds basic when I describe it like that but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that some good old fashioned storylines here should make for a very entertaining show.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted February 13, 2011 Paid Members Posted February 13, 2011 Oh my, please tell me we will get Haku back on tv. Â Fucking Haku! Â Then when the writers realise how relentlessly good he is, they will decide that my idea to put him against Cena at next years' Wrestlemania is the way to go.
Cobra1000 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 I'm all for this sounds like fun.. But didn't Ricky Steamboat have some serious health issues recently? I wonder is he okay? Can see Father and Son winners winning the Tag Team Titles!
boydy122 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Do you think they've got enough time to do this season of NXT cos I could see a 4 way tag team title match with The Steamboats winning the titles
Nero Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 I will buck the trend and say I think a father/son NXT would be Personally I think NXT has ran its course, the first one was good then after that it became a bit blah. Just my opinion
Dirty Eddie Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 The winner of the current NXT gets a Tag Title shot, so the next one will probably be for a different belt, especially if half of the Fathers are in no state to wrestle. Shame, as the Steamboats would be cool to see, even just a handful of times.
robbo9292 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Hell winner goes for US Title or IC title maybe? or shame that was season 2... hell Million Dollar Championship comes back into play again
Richie Freebird Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Hopefully this will at least prevent them from making up stupid names for the 2nd gen lads if they are going to acknowledge that they are the sons of former greats.
King Pitcos Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Hopefully this will at least prevent them from making up stupid names for the 2nd gen lads if they are going to acknowledge that they are the sons of former greats. Like it did with Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty?
Richie Freebird Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Like it did with Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty? Â That
Paid Members air_raid Posted February 13, 2011 Paid Members Posted February 13, 2011 What he meant was that they acknowledged their second-gen heritage and still gave them dumbass names.
Richie Freebird Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 What he meant was that they acknowledged their second-gen heritage and still gave them dumbass names. Â Ah right thanks mate. I thought I must have missed something with that post, its rare me and Pity agree on WWE related matters. Some of the name changes in FCW or on the NXT shows seem a bit daft though I reckon with the over use of alliteration and some of the other things they come up with. I just think that if they are basing the whole show around the fact that these are the sons of the older guys, it will be a bit harder to explain calling Richie Steamboat
