Fog Dude
As ultimo found out a few rounds back, it's not clever to miss a Gamble week, so if I don't play this time, either something went wrong in getting there or I was lied to about wireless being included in the price of my accommodation. I only found out Wednesday night's results less than half an hour ago, and I'm having to post this from a McDonald's. Smegma Cake
My laptop decided to die early last week, so sadly I've missed out this week. Judging by yesterday, I'm glad I did. I'd have been in negative points if I'd have played.
Fog Dude
My laptop decided to die early last week, so sadly I've missed out this week. Judging by yesterday, I'm glad I did. I'd have been in negative points if I'd have played. Hard luck. Frustratingly, my laptop is very much alive, but it wasn't made clear to me that it might take up to 2 weeks for me to get access to more than 1 website from my room, so I'm again typing this from my new local branch of a well-known restaurant chain. You'll have to take this in lieu of a write-up and table update (unless someone else wants to do it), I'm afraid, but I'll try to get the next card posted on Tuesday evening or sometime Wednesday. Things should be back to normal soonish, but it's out of my control and down to continental bureaucracy getting its act together, sadly. Which is a shame, because there were some extraordinary results this weekend, including Barcelona's record-breaking win, 2 eight-goal thrillers, United losing their unbeaten record and Liverpool's victory at Stamford Bridge - all of which I again only just found out about. I thought I was being cheeky including a meeting between 2 of the former 'big 4', but as it turned out, the Gamble outcome was already known long before that game started. Harvey Dent
I don't want to see the table, I've had an absolute shocker. It really felt like a yes on the big three gamble would pay off this time rather than the usual far more conservative, and correct, No option.
