Fog Dude
The results and the table have both been in their usual places since Monday morning. Leader hbk4life had a stinker, so the gap at the top is closed to just 3 points. A mere 8 points is enough to make jerichoholictufcfan and sees him move up a place. Apart from that, only some movement in the middle among a clutch of tied players, but for the first time in ages there's a change at the other end as vanhalen didn't play - and indeed might have given up - allowing sivy to overtake him on most exact scores. So why was it such a low-scoring round? Well, for starters few foresaw Fulham beating Spurs, let alone stuffing them. Elsewhere failures for Chelsea and City to win on the road, combined with Wigan holding on for a stalemate at the Reebok and slightly surprising one-goal away victories for Stoke and Munching Glad Back, meant it was a difficult week to guess. Expected progress for Villa, United and Reading helped to redress the balance, along with a comfortable win for German leaders Dortmund at Steve McClaren's disappointing Wolfsburg. New thread coming up within the hour, including the (too?) swift return of the big 3 Gamble!
