Herts & Essex Wrestling Posted January 16, 2011 Share Posted January 16, 2011 HEW presents it's most controversial event of the year New Year Showdown and this year will be no different.  matches announced:  HEW Championship - Champion Rowdy Ricky Knight w/ Britani Knight vs. The Wonderkid Jonny Storm  The Football Hooligans vs. TJ Daniels and Alex Young  The King Of The Raffle will finally be decided Perfection Personified Scott Fusion vs. Delicious Danny Blaze  more to be announced.  takes place at The Takeley Silver Jubilee Hall on Saturday February 5th, doors open at 6.30pm, show starts at 7.30pm. Herts & Essex Wrestling Posted January 16, 2011 Author Share Posted January 16, 2011 Commissioner Cox has had to put her foot down with The Devil's Playboys Sam Knee and Brett Meadows who both have voiced their disgust with the fact that both of there challenges for the HEW Championship have been ignored. Meadows quite rightly should have a rematch against the man who dethroned him of his HEW championship Ricky Knight and because of the bad weather Sam Knee did not get an answer for his challenge for the belt at The Christmas spectacular because the show was cancelled. Â Brett Meadows was reported to have used abusive language in the meeting and has been fined for doing so, Sam Knee not only backed up his tag team partners words was severely reprimanded for using the phrase " This wouldn't have happened if I was still in charge" The Commissioner has told both of them that they will have a match on February 5th but it will not be for the HEW Championship, it will be a HEW Tag Team Championship match, neither Devil's Playboy was happy about this. Â Switzerland's Sigmasta Rappo makes his debut for HEW at New Year Showdown taking on a man who was on the very first HEW show nearly 7 years ago who then Wrestled as Bash, The former Baseball Fury changed his ways recently in WAW and now without the face paint is now known as Solomon, and after 6 years makes his return to HEW! Herts & Essex Wrestling Posted February 8, 2011 Author Share Posted February 8, 2011 The Football Hooligans Budd and Bexx destroyed Alex Young and TJ Daniels, then announced they were in HEW for one thing .... Gold! much to the audiences disgust !  Delicious Danny Blaze defeated Scott Fusion to become The Undisputed King Of The Raffle  Team ICW Italy vs. Team England Marco Marinelli and Emilio vs. The Devil's Playboys went to a no contest when Budd and Bexx The Football Hooligans ran in and attacked the Playboys with kendo sticks, Hooligan Budd actually broke a kendo stick over Sam Knee's head! while Bexx relentlessly beat Meadows with the other stick, The Hooligans then announced they want the HEW Tag Team Championships and will take them from the Playboys, leaving Sam Knee and Brett Meadows lying motionless in the ring.  Solomon beat Sigmasta Rappo  Main Event for the HEW Championship - Rowdy Ricky Knight retained his belt against The Wonderkid Jonny Storm, pinning storm after his boys The Football Hooligans and his daughter Britani interfered in the match and then hitting the spear. After the match the beat down continued when the newly formed and down right frightening faction led by Rowdy Ricky Knight continued to beat the much smaller Jonny Storm untill the Devil's Playboys ran in to make the save!  Challenges were issued and it was confirmed that on Friday March 11th, Night 1 of HEW's 3 night 7 year Birthday bash at The Harlow Greyhound Stadium, Harlow, Essex The Devil's Playboys will defend the HEW Tag Titles against The Football Hooligans in a Streetfight!  Also announced for that Blockbuster weekend is on Night 2 Saturday March 12th at The Takeley Silver Jubilee Hall Rowdy Ricky Knight must defend his belt one more time against Jonny Storm. Special Stipulations to be announced soon.  Don't forget Night 3 of HEW's Birthday Weekend is at The Paddocks, Canvey Island and will be a matinee afternoon show.
