Who is Sami Callihan? any videos of him around to check out?

He's been around the North-east US independent scene for a few years now, using the nickname "The New Horror". He's been used as squash match material for ROH, both on their weekend house shows as well as the HDNet TV show. He toured the UK with All Star Wrestling a year or so ago.

marty beat cole & o'reilly in a very fun and awesome match

rj & omar over exodus ("kurrupt") and someone I didn't get the name of (aka "jon ryan" - they were replacements as the murkers weren't there) - not a five star match but loads of fun

sami beat zack in another fun and also hard hitting match (only the 'bar fight bench spot' scared me to death)

I THINK danny garnell then beat jimmy in a pancake day match (because he didn't want to have an uv match, but still including a fryingpan, 2 or 3 lighttubes and 2 lemon halfs)

and mark haskins beat el generico

Another very fun show from IPW at the Tap, Zack and Marty again having an excellent night from a performance perspective. Generico vs Haskins, while it unsurprisingly didn't reach the heights of Generico vs Marty on Sunday, was still a decent main event. Full results:

Marty "Del Rio" Scurll, complete with gold gear and Alberto's entrance music/mannerisms, pinned Adam Cole in the three-way with Kyle O'Reilly in 14:22. Loads of fun, a million sex pin spots in the first half of the match, and a cracking all-out second half. Marty won with a double knees backbreaker (think Roderick Strong's gutbuster, only with the opponent the other way up so they get drilled in the back).

Omer Ibrahim and RJ Singh beat last minute Murker replacements Blokbusta and some bloke doing a chav gimmick in 11:30 with a double Camel Clutch submission. Probably about 50% too long, but then Andy Quildan even said during the introductions this was never going to be as good without Jon Ryan in it. Props to referee Chris Roberts who treated the replacements as if they were the Murkers, asking Blokbusta "Kurrupt, what do you say" when he was in a submission predicament...

Sami Callihan made Zack Sabre Jr tap out to a half crab in 11:47. A shocking finish to a good match, much better than Callihan/T-Bone in Sittingbourne. In between the delays while they wound each other up then got one of the benches off the "tiered seating" this was an absolute war, I'd love to see a straight match between them somewhere.

Danny Garnell beat Jimmy Havoc in a pancake day match in 16:27. Garnell kept changing the rules to suit him, so there were perhaps three restarts after he was DQed for kicking Havoc in the bollocks, submitted and first used the obligatory frying pan. After those, Garnell used Jimmy's head to break several light tubes, and got the pin after a flurry of massive impact moves culminating in a DDT.

Mark Haskins pinned El Generico with a small package reversal to an attempted brainbuster, also at 16:27. Man alive, Generico chops hard, but Haskins was begging for more at times in this one. The finish leaves rematch doors open, for sure.

That's all folks. Good luck to Zack on his US tour next month, including CZW Best of the Best and EVOLVE 7 among others...
