I was going to start by apologising to Rory and The Game for putting early kick-offs on the card without warning the past couple of weeks, causing them to miss out on the chance to predict the outcome of some games. However, the reason this is so late is I have to say sorry to all other participants for accidentally putting a Tuesday night fixture among the 10. The match at Church Road only took place last night, sneakily being the only such game in its division to do so. I admit I picked the Xmas and New Year fixtures back in the summer, but I checked them all more recently, and swear all were listed as being set for Monday night at the latest just a few weeks ago. From the next round onward though, almost every match will not have been chosen at such short notice, so there shouldn't be any nasty surprises (but I'll try to give fair warning for the remaining lunchtime starts).

Anyhow, here's the table, which again has no change to the top or bottom 4 even though no games were lost to the weather this time. Scores were about average for a normal week, so there was a bit of movement among the middle 16, with only lowest scorer TildeGuy getting an arguably less than respectable score. Only 2 participants made it into double figures, of whom steve scored highest, defying the form book to manage only one wrong result, whilst being the only player to get the exact score from Krap Nottarf and coming closest to guessing the one at the Withdean. A remarkable performance by all accounts.

Of the other matches, only 3 people foresaw the away win in the Old Firm derby, but nobody got it spot on. The margin of victory was also a problem at the Don Valley Stadium, where many thought managerless Port Vale might actually come away with something, whilst a draw was rightly favoured at Altrincham, but not always the three-point worthy stalemate. Another away victory was preferred at the Crown Ground, but in the end 4 goals were shared so few got that right. Meanwhile back in Scotland a home win in the Edinburgh derby yielded a fair few points, just as the favoured sides winning on the road in the EPL proved fruitful with most getting at least a point each from those 2 results.

It's already Wednesday, so I won't bother going on about next week, I'll just get on and put up the new thread straight away. See y'all there.
