Sky Atlantic is Sky's baby that has been in design for several years.

 

A lot of the high quality HBO/Showtime shows are going on there, some of whom have not aired in the U.K. before, plus shows like House from Sky One.

 

Seriously mate, TNA Impact isn't going to air on Sky Atlantic.

 

Slots may be opening up on Sky One though.....

Noticed a new channel being hyped on the TV just there. Sky Atlantic. Any chance you think of TNA turning up there?

 

I'd say its quite likely. Seems tailor made.

 

Not really. That Sky Atlantic channel is showing a load of dramas from HBO and Showtime, so I can't see TNA ever being on there.

 

Ah I misread the mission statement there. Thought it was a 'best of US TV' type of thing, not that TNA should be included in that, but you get my point. The channel sounds promising either way.

 

No worries, the channel does indeed look very good. I'd say Sky 1 would be more of a better fit, but if the fabled rule that "Other wrestling can't be on channels that show WWE" does exist, then surely they could dump it on Sky 2 or 3.

I just hope they stick it on a channel that gets freeview broadcast, for cheapskates like me!

 

Would be a good way to catch casual viewers and then use the ad breaks to promote their pay-only WWE programming.
