The Crazies was good, despite it essentially playing like a horror Greatest Hits. I'll watch Timothy Olyphant in anything though.

As for the Robin Hood mention a page or so back, I really can't quite get the hatred that film garnered. It's nothing special but I thought it was alright.

Timothy Olyphantastic to you, sir.

What a man...

Yeah, Robin Hood wasn't bad at all. Wasn't tremendous, but I didn't come out feeling raped like I did after Tron Legacy and Buried...

Because it wasn't the story of Robin Hood, it was a Robin Hood prequel. Also the battle with the French was so shit and tacked on and nonsensical.

I didn't see any adverts for it. If I'd known it was going to be an origin story I guess I wouldn't have been as massively disappointed as I was (or rather probably just wouldn't have watched it).

I didn't think it was an awful film. If they make a sequel with the same cast and crew, I'd see it.

But still, what's the deal with everything needing an origin story? They've done it with every single superhero franchise and I've had enough. I'd really welcome a glossing-over of origins with occasionaly relevant flashbacks. Ideal would be if the origin story of a character can be told in its entirety before the opening credits finish rolling.
