King Pitcos
I'd love it if they did box sets of an entire years worth of TV. It'd cost an absolute bomb of course but to have for example all the Raws, Smackdowns and Heats from 2000 in proper DVD quality would be pretty special.  Theyre out there (unofficially) if you know where to get em  www.badVHSrips.com
Paid Members mim731 Posted September 9, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 9, 2013 The best of MSG set is out today, would recommend it highly. Have written a review on it, but I wasn't sure whether it would be a bit cheeky to post a link to it here, so I won't for now. Definitely a DVD worth checking out though. Â Also, I just started the Mid South set. Mind blown. Always loved Ted Dibiase in WWF, but his stuff in Mid South is incredible. Duggan too, really enjoyed the Rat pack stuff. Paid Members mim731 Posted September 9, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 9, 2013 Not a documentary as such on either. Lots of talking heads/context on both from people who were there or in the matches. Excellent match selection though.

AshC
How come the Junkyard Dog vs Michael Hayes match after the blinding angle isn't on the Mid South set?
Paid Members JNLister Posted September 23, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 23, 2013 There's a good chance it wasn't filmed.

Cobra1000
Really liked that review mim! Paid Members Benno Posted September 26, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted September 26, 2013 It's pretty good. Although I accept they'll never get everything in or please everybody, there's a few things I'm surprised they didnt talk about, specifically his Warrior Mania defeat, his 2000 feud with Foley and the Michaels comeback and feud before they did the DX reunion (perhaps that one is just me but I would have loved to hear about the Summerslam and Taboo Tuesday matches). Â It's also all a bit gushing but that's to be expected. Was interesting to hear that it was him who called for DX to be disbanded in 1999, against the wishes of the others - although he was right to do it, they were desperate for a proper Main Event heel at the time. Slapnut
Yeah I was a bit disappointed with the Triple H documentary too. They seemed to skip over a lot of stuff, going from his 2001 injury to his Wrestlemania match with Cena in the space of about 10 minutes. It was good, just felt a bit rushed. KingOfMetal
WrestlingDVDNews.com reports that the "RAW 20th Anniversary Collection" box set Blu-ray has been canceled. The set will just be released on DVD, at least for Australia and North America. No word yet if it's been pulled for Europe also.
poetofthedeed
Wasn't that keen on the triple h DVD, like others have said it was very patchy and the match selection seemed weird to me. Also did they say after he beat Jericho at wmx8 he held the belt for 9 months? Fairly sure that didn't happen.
