Am I the only one who worries that taking photos of Robbie X during a match might lead to you getting your hard drive searched by the Old Bill?

He certainly has good potential and working well on general wrestling moves, not just high flying.

Red Lightning may have had a good year, but to break in higher up he needs to come south of the border. I am always hearing how good he is, but he never gets booked by anyone anywhere else. Plenty of other Scotish workers get booked elswhere, so why not him?

I am saying that out of genuine interest, not implying he is not very good

Thats actually a great point by LoTM you could be the best wrestler in the uk up there in scotland but until you venture south and wrestle in england (where the majority of ukff'rs reside) then you're just not going to get the exposure you deserve. There'll be a few scots that suffer the same problem in regards to the ukff50 wont there?

There's a good chance he hasn't wanted to. He's kept busy in Scotland and is a highlight on any show he's on here, it could be that for now - he's happy. But I wouldn't say that's a definite answer.

Anyway, even then I'm surprised he's come second last in terms of Scottish talent. He has had a damn good year.

Who is he?

Calling himself the "Israeli Icon", cocky and confident Noam Dar has undoubtedly had his breakout in the last 12 months. He started out in the Scottish wrestling scene for BCW, PBW and others, then branched out into promotions in Northern England and then into mainland Europe, all at the age of just 16 years old..... In BCW, Dar has already fought all the top talent. In December at the promotion's 7th annual No Blood, No Sympathy event, he defeated former champion Lionheart in the latter's final bout for the organisation, a true "passing the torch" occasion. This was followed up by his unsuccessful main event challenge to BCW Heavyweight Champion Darkside on the February event in Ayr, Dar having many in the audience believe at the time that he was taking the belt. March saw a showstealing performance against BT Gunn in East Kilbride, before a won over Steven Xavier back in Ayr in May. Over the course of the June double-header, however, he came up short to Andy Wild on two consecutive nights, firstly in a 3-way also featuring England's CJ Banks, then a singles bout the next day.....

Over in PBW, Dar has tussled with Lightning Kid, J Hazard, El Ligero, Andy Anderson, Anthony Christie, Danny MacLean and others. He was the runner up to Bubblegum in the promotion's annual King of Cruisers 6-way match at the showpiece Maximum Impact 2009 event last October, and then formed the Final Cut team with "Bad Boy" Liam Thomson..... A high-profile appearance saw Noam feature on the undercard of the Spanish leg of the Dragon Gate tour of Europe in October, where he fell to fellow BCW wrestler "Highlander" Colin McKay..... Impressed with his performances, English promoters were keen to bring the lad south of the border, where he has battled Robbie X across Yorkshire. The two youngsters clashed for SSW in Last of the Summer Wine home Holmfirth in February, then opposed each other in an 8-man tag for DPW in Morley the following month. Steven Gauntley's Pro Wrestling 101 brought him in for the afternoon show of the ill-fated Unstoppable event in Sheffield, where he and Robbie fought again as part of a 4-way with Ligero and T-Bone. 1PW then used him in a 6-way contest in Liverpool, won by Martin Kirby....

What did the UKFF think?

"One of my tips for the future. Only 16 but looks and acts like a pro. Isn't shy about interacting with the crowd and is another crowning example of the level of talent coming from north of the border"

"He has really, really impressed me. The stand out and break out star from this past year. Was involved in an absolutely fantastic 8-man tag at DPW in March. Had a great showing in a 4-way from 101's afternoon show the next day where he was the life and character of that match. And then, again in another multi-man, another great showing in a 6-man elimination match at 1PW in Liverpool, the exchanges and ending of him and Kirby being fantastic. I want to see a lot more of this kid. Wrestling, character, look and personality in spades. This guy is one to watch in the future"

"One of the hottest prospects I've seen in years. He'll develop into an even better wrestler with more experience"

"He's 16 and can do nothing but improve. Has a great look, a neat gimmick and bags of talent"

"A very promising young talent who needs to be booked more in the South"

"This kid is the future - enough said"

"The next big thing from the UK"

"Good on the mic, decent look and great in the ring, he will be the future of Scottish, if not British, wrestling"

"He's the counter-argument to my ''kids should never be in the ring'' argument, since he's a fucking great prospect who's got the potential to go a lot further than most in BritWres"

"One of the things that amazes me about this kid is just how so sure of himself he looks. He has an aura about him which I like. That and the fact that he's fucking great means he was always going to be high in my list"

Who is he?

Irish-born wrestler, previously known as a tag specialist with partner Scott Renwick as half of BMW (Britain's Most Wanted). O'Connor has just come off a notable year as a singles performer for SWA in Scotland, whilst also establishing himself as a major part of England's Triple-X Wrestling..... While regular partner Renwick was going after the NWA Scottish title, O'Connor was going for singles championships of his own. In the opener of The Gathering III in Glasgow last September, he beat Chris Renfrew for the Laird of the Ring title, a championship he would hold until March of 2010 when he was defeated by (heel boss) Eric Canyon-associated Red Lightning in Uddingston..... The next month, in Paisley, O

Good for Damien. I've started really rating the guy since he pitched up in TXW, especially as part of his team with Renwick. Didn't quite crack my top fifteen, but he's getting better all the time.

I could have a punt at who voted JD Knight number one, wonder who went for O'Connor for the top spot?

Have never seen Joseph Connors or JD Knight but both certainly look the part, which is at least half the battle won in my opinion.

Only seen Noam Dar once but was very impressed and think he has a great future.

Unless Robbie X can sell like Spud used to in his babyface role, he definitely needs a mask at this early stage of his career (and life).

Agree that Lion Kid is a good gimmick which better suits the very youthful looking Wade Fitzgerald from an aesthetic point of view.

He has always been a strong in-ring competitor though and hopefully this new(ish) gimmick gives him a chance to shine.

Really enjoying seeing pictures and getting info on talents I have either never seen/heard of or do not know much about.
