I think it's probably hard not to take it seriously when most of the stuff was personal, I think that goes beyond the lines of 'fair game'. I mean backstage matters shouldn't be brought into this, it has nothing to do with it really. Plus personally speaking I've been nothing but impressed when I've seen Shane wrestle at the few shows i've seen him on and I agree with the selling comment, his match at FWA Art of War is a great example.

well there is a difference between a "shit" wrestler which has come fobles and seems to have rubbed someone up the wrong way and one that's just not very good and dosen't aspire beyond that if you get on one of those list's the best way to handle it is to see if there is anything that resonates as true then use it to improve.

Yeah, I'd rather not hear about wrestler's personal lives when it comes to how eligible they were for the top 50/shitlist. Half the shit that Shane kid got voted in for shouldn't really be used as reason to call him a crap worker.

 

The bit about him pestering other wrestlers for their moves also doesn't really qualify him - it makes him a pest backstage, rather than a naff worker, surely? Saw him at the FWA show, and there's got to be far more than 20 people in this country much worse than him?

Here in lies the issue though - someone shit (not saying Shane is, I've met him once or twice but never seen him work) will naturally stand out more on a show like FWA, All Star, LDN or IPW where the talent level is, for the most part, of a high standard. These are also the kind of shows that people on here are likely to go to, more so in the case of FWA and IPW as they have a more Internet-geared promotion drive. It's possible that there would be twenty worse people on a single PTW (for example) show, let alone in the entire country on throughout the course of a year, it's just shows like that will have less people going to see them, and a particularly bad wrestler on a show like that might not stand out quite as much.
