- Ben and James Johnston, the twins from Biffy Clyro, are Killie fans. Simon Neil always affirmed that he was an Ayr United supporter for years and years but conveniently started telling people he is a Rangers fan once they started to sell proper amounts of records and people wanted to talk to them. Go figure.

- Not getting dragged into a discussion about Lenny's touchline ban. It's a fucking disgrace and that's the bottom line. I hope the SFA are prepared for round two.

- Pleased to get another trip to Mordor in the cup. As Sweatsock says, it should be a much more open game as nobody will be content with a draw.

- And finally:

It's okay but. Don't shit yourself yet. It's only Paddy diddily iddly diddly McCourt. He deserves it. He has the temerity to be a Northern Irish Catholic. That's completely fucking unacceptable. People have bestowed a jocular reputation for him being a member of a paramilitary organisation. Hell, some even say he has an army of his own. He should be ready, if not expect, to receive the threat of murder in the post.

Or maybe he just acted like a wank and is getting propperly punished.

Properly punished?

Luiz Suarez got a 7 match ban for biting an opposing teams player. Lennon gets one less than that for questioning an official in an over the top manner?

CONSPIRACY!

Possibly.

Or maybe it's just the SFA getting a little payback for all the shit he caused last year.

A 6-match ban for a first offence is unprecedented.

Walter Smith got four matches for entereing the away technical area during a match against Hibs at Ibrox and pushing the fourth official. That was a two-game ban with an additional two due to previous offences, as is standard in accordance with SFA rules which state that two matches are added to a punishment for every case of misconduct in the last three years.

Jim Jefferies was given two matches for calling Willie Collum a cheat earlier this season.

But it's not his first offence. He had countless run ins with the SFA during his time as a player. Including the infamous throwing of toys out his pram in the middle of the Ibrox pitch.

That seems a little harsh. Surely playing and management careers are seperate? Will we be expecting Zidane to get a touchline ban if he becomes a manager?

Does anyone know if there is anything to stop Celtic registering Lennon as a player and putting him on the bench? He is still younger than David Weir.

Just to settle the Biffy Clyro debate (they were in my younger brother's year at school), the twins are Killie fans and the lead singer was not into football at all but his family are Rangers fans.

Any run-ins that were deemed worthy of a punishment should have been dealt with when he was a player.

You're just grasping at straws now.

Original approach though. They usually pretend to support Clyde or Partick Thistle.

I'm not really. He acted like an idiot and is getting punished for it. There are no straws to clutch. Just facts.

Hes getting overly punished for it though. Theres no way that warranted six games. The fact that your saying his run ins with the SFA as a player should count towards this IS clutching at straws...unless of course you think that should be the case when any ex player becomes a manager.
