Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted August 14, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted August 14, 2019 Listen to the way Jorge Masvidal talks about Horiguchi here; “Pound for pound the best fighter at ATT”. Think about the ground that covers. And saying he plays with John Lineker and Jussier Formiga in the gym. Horiguchi is the real deal. Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted September 11, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted September 11, 2019 Don’t even know the card but this poster for Rizin 19 is lovely. WHAT A DRAMATIC MMA!!
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted September 11, 2019 Author Paid Members Share Posted September 11, 2019 😄 here's the card so far: https://cagesidepress.com/2019/09/11/rizin-19-announced-including-lightweight-grand-prix-participants-debut-fabio-maldonado/ Patricky Pitbull is in the tournament, thats pretty cool. Need to watch me some Rizin.
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted September 11, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted September 11, 2019 Prochazka vs Maldonado plus Pitbull and Kawajiri in the tournament. Not bad. I’m the same with Rizin. I catch bits and pieces here and there but don’t really keep up with it.
jimufctna24
The latest from the Rizin Confession series. It covers Horiguchi's loss to Kai Asakura. Highly recommended!
Paid Members Carbomb Posted September 12, 2019 Paid Members Share Posted September 12, 2019 Ah, Engrish. The gift that keeps on giving. I remember seeing top-shelf mags in a convenience store in Osaka that had slogans like "Discharge your passion in regal ways" and "Fuck Battle Yeah!" The absolute best was "Woman's The Bowels". Some interesting stuff in there. I love hearing about technical strategies, how they analyse fighters' weaknesses and formulate ways to exploit those. Asakura's no slouch, either - his record is practically undefeated, having avenged his only loss. Either way, I hope there's a rematch down the line - given how he's done since the DJ loss, Horiguchi doesn't strike me as the type to stand still. He'll look to fill the holes in his game, and he's probably learned the value of studying opponents, no matter whom. And Asakura's going to be interesting to watch too. jimufctna24
I suspect that the rematch will headline Rizin's December 31st show. With Rampage/Fedor and Bader/Procházka headlining the December 29th show co-promoted by Bellator and Rizin. Should be a fun end to the year. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 27, 2019 Author Paid Members Share Posted November 27, 2019 just over a week away from this one... there's quite alot of promotional stuff out there that's getting no attention, i might watch a little to try and get into this but running the show on the same night as the biggest heavyweight title fight of the year cant be helping it. This is gonna tank. Does anyone give a fuck?
