Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted June 3, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 3, 2017 Didn't even know the UFC had let Bigfoot go. Dont tell me, he got knocked out again, right?

Herb Dean was the referee, and he didn't help, because he let it go a few more punches than was necessary. The likes of Big John or Marc Goddard would have been there a lot quicker. Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted June 3, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 3, 2017 Fucking hell. I like Bigfoot but I wish he'd stop. Sadly, there'll always be someone who will book him so I can't see him retiring anytime soon.
Noah Southworth
Silva’s situation is even worse when you look at the stats. He's 1-7 in his last eight fights and has an overall record of 19-12 with one no-contest. Of those twelve losses, only two were not by KO or TKO. He had back-to-back losses to DC and Cain, back-to-back losses to Arlovksi and Mir, and back-to-back-to-back losses to Hunt, Struve and Nelson. Those were all by KO or TKO. The only standalone KO/TKO losses were his first loss back in 2006, his second loss to Cain, and the loss he suffered yesterday. Overall, that’s nine KO’s or TKO’s in less than six years. And that’s not even taking into account the head shots he suffered en route to those losses or in the fights he either won or was not finished in. For the money he’s reportedly getting, I can see why Silva finds it hard to say no to fight offers. But if he wants any kind of quality of life in his later years, Silva needs to call it day. The odds are already good that he’s going to suffer greatly. Each new fight he takes doesn’t help matters. Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted June 3, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted June 3, 2017 All that plus the 5 round Rocky-Drago war with Mark Hunt. His brain must be like porridge these days.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted June 5, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted June 5, 2017 Silva needs to be saved from himself, he's a shell of what he was and is just taking ungodly punishment. He's fighting good guys too, whoever is managing or his family need to step in and tell him to stop, it's just bad. Â

Noah Southworth
Road FC 39 wasn't much to write home about. It had a few flashes of excitement, but was otherwise unremarkable. However, you have to watch the Hyun Man Myung vs. Aori Gele fight. It doesn’t last long, thanks to what is probably the sickest kick to the groin you will ever see or hear. The poor unfortunate recipient was in absolute agony, writhing and screaming in pain. They even had to hold up a giant towel so the doctor’s could attend to him. It took forever before he was able to be helped out. It’s something you really have to see.

the_mole
M1 global from China is on live right now, its on Boxnation. I only really recognise Sean Wheelock (former Bellator) & Ian Freeman who is both co ring announcer (they have a Chinese guy as well) and on the booth with Wheelock. Sakodjoua (sp?) & Kharitonov are on the card. Edited June 15, 2017 by the_mole Spelling

Paid Members Egg Shen Posted June 29, 2017 Author Paid Members Share Posted June 29, 2017 BARBOZA'D. Melvin Guillard's downfall continues, he fought over in Kunlun Fights in China on June 1st... Â couldn't find a better clip, but you get the gist. Guillard has now lost 10 of his last 15 fights, just 3 wins (2 no contests) and he's missed weight 7 times! Guillard seems to one of those guys that's gonna keep going because he doesn't know how to do anything else. It's sad to see such a good career going down the tubes though. Guillard has been fighting forever but he's still only 34 years old. He's due fight again this weekend in London in a bareknuckle fight. Thinking of starting a bit of a downward spiral thread on here to track a few of the guys who fell from grace, always fascinates me. Noah Southworth
Here is the tweaked card for Invicta FC 24: Milana Dudieva vs. Mara Romero Borella Raquel Pa'aluhi vs. Yana Kunitskaya Jinh Yu Frey vs. Ashley Cummins Karina RodrĂguez vs. Bárbara Acioly Sunna Rannveig Davidsdottir vs. Kelly D’Angelo Mallory Martin vs. Tiffany Masters Felicia Spencer vs. Amy Coleman As a general rule, you can't go too wrong with Invicta. They've slipped a little since their early days, but they're still putting out a good product.
