Who cares - it's INFERNO~!  Yeah, but she isn't Inferno unless she dyes her hair red and breathes fire again.

cobystag
Also it goes against the hyperbole of "brand new all-female professional wrestling promotion dedicated to showcasing the best women wrestlers in all of Europe", "feature the finest female wrestlers", if you're putting a woman on the show in her FIRST match. Â But than she probably is the "special guest" mentioned, and no doubt you'll be advertising Gladiator's Inferno on all the local posters to get the fans in. Which is a smart business move there, no doubt about it. Â I do have reservations about the Catch Division. Admittedly I only just re-read the thread and noticed the rules aren't going to be implemented in all matches, but with women's wrestling being such a niche and small market as it is.... The Catch Division just seems like such an un-necessary add-on, but I do hope it goes well. I get a regular promotion trying something different to stand out..... But EVE stands out a mile from the start.

Wait - so WWE signed her to developmental without her wrestling a single match? Johnny Ace must REALLY fancy her.  Hey, that's how Alicia Fox and Kelly Kelly got their jobs!  Apparently, if I understand correctly, WWE felt/feels that Jemma Palmer has a "unique look" which, when she has red hair and breathes fire ala "Inferno", she most certainly does. The blonde hair and big boobs look, however, makes her just another WWE girl, sadly.  Anyway, best of luck to Jemma in her pro debut. I'd say put her in with Saraya, who could carry her to a decent match (and will probably be the most experienced woman Jemma will ever be likely to face in her career), and stick Jetta in there with Erin Angel (only seen the two clash once but it was a good match from what I remember).  Genuinely hope everything goes well with this show as it looks to be a nice showcase for some new and experienced female talent. Snitsky's back acne
Just had a thought - what with Minx, Pippa LVinn, Lisa Fury, Team Blossom, up-and-comers Amazon and Amy-Lee Kramer and Norwegian talent Mina not being on the card this time it gives the EVE roster a chance to expand in the future. Â Great stuff.
DannRead
Another match added to the debut show of Pro-Wrestling: EVE on Saturday May 8 at The Delphi Club in Sudbury, Suffolk!  BATTLE NUMBER 5:  No hype is needed for this match. You know you're going to get arguably the two very best in Europe going one on one. You know you're going to get action. You know you're going to get hard-hitting. You know you're going to get two women doing everything they can to beat the other.  Can Blue Nikita defeat both Britani & Saraya Knight over the 2 tapings on May 8? Pro-Wrestling:EVE will present the VERY best in European Professional Female Wrestling on Saturday May 8 at The Delphi Club in Sudbury, Suffolk. Tickets available from www.EVEwrestling.com or from Sudbury Town Hall in Gaol Lane!   ADDITIONAL NAMES ADDED TO EVE ON SATURDAY MAY 8 IN SUDBURY, SUFFOLK  MELANIE PRICE  Melanie Price's publicist has informed us that she will be competing for EVE on May 8 at The Delphi Club in Sudbury...We DIDN'T actually book her for the show but apparently she's a "celebrity IT girl" which we're told means she can do whatever and go wherever she wants. So, yeah. There you have it. Melanie Price to EVE on May 8 :-)  JANEY B.  22 going on 12, Janey still needs ID to get into 15 certificated movies but what may seem like a disadvantage in real life is used as an advantage in the wrestling world as her opponents often make the mistake of thinking she's a lot more inexperienced than she is, Janey has made a habit elsewhere of using this along with her ability to take a kickin' yet keep on tickin'to gain victories - will it work in EVE? We'll find out on May 8 in Sudbury, Suffolk. Get your tickets NOW from www.EVEwrestling.com   This is in addition to the previously announced matches:   As one career comes to a close another career begins, in what will be one of Jetta's last wrestling matches before retiring in June, "Coventry's Loudest" looks to end another career before it even begins when she goes one on one with former Sky One Gladiator Jemma "Inferno" Palmer who despite soon relocating to the USA to become a big star is in her very first match!  Jetta's not wanting to go out on a loss but Jemma Palmer is not going to want to begin with anything other than a win - something has got to give and we'll find out what that will be on May 8 at The Delphi Club in Sudbury, Suffolk!   The high-flying Becky James from Cardiff Wales battles the power-house from Berlin, Germany - Alpha Female!    "The Hardcore Daredevil" Blue Nikita goes one on one with the 2009 European Female Wrestler Of The Year - Britani Knight!    The debut fight in The Catch Division! Snitsky's back acne
Janey B! Awesome. I always felt her alter-ego Violet had some potential so it's nice to see her on the card. Â Have only seen one other Saraya/Blue Nikita match and it was very good indeed so anyone attending the show is in for a treat with that one! DannRead
Another match added to the debut show of Pro-Wrestling: EVE on Saturday May 8 at The Delphi Club in Sudbury, Suffolk!   BATTLE NUMBER 6:   It is believed by many that in professional wrestling the key to success is having the ability to adapt to any and all situations. On May 8 at EVE Saraya Knight (ENG), Erin Angel (ENG) and Carmel Jacob (SCO) will each have to adapt their usual game plan from defeating one opponent to defeating two opponents as they all compete against one another in a triangle match! Remember every win is important in EVE as they all count towards the rankings that will utimately determine who will get the chance to compete for the gold at future EVE shows.   This match is in addition to the previously announced:    No hype is needed for this match.
