d-d-d-dAz Posted January 6, 2014 Share Posted January 6, 2014 I resisted (mostly because of how much of a spenk I think the guy is) listening to 'Yeezus' all year, but over the last month I caught the bug. I genuinely think its one of the best records I've ever heard, its certainly the most exciting record I've heard in forever. Â It's angry, claustrophobic...fucking depraved at times. It's a nasty, spiteful record that wants to punch you in the head and fuck your missus. I've never heard music like it. Rap music obviously has precedent for nasty, depraved lyrics but on Yeezus its really in the production where it gets nasty. Just mindblowingly out there. Â Amazing.
