wordsfromlee
I have a couple of mates who were on Bargain Hunt. They said Tim Wonnacott was a bellend.
Factotum
Well that's why he was fired wasn't it? To be honest though the show is rubbish without him. Bring back Dickinson to liven it up
deathrey
And I concur, Bargain Hunt is poop.

Keith Houchen
I'm at the halfway break or whatever they call it these days of Series 5 of Vikings. Â It honestly felt like the lead up to a classic Survivor Series match. Â All the lead players had a feud or dealings with someone in the other army and scores were going to be settled. Â Tag teams turning on each other and others bound by duty to do the right thing even though they would have to go up against their brother, brother. Really well put together and I think wrestling fans would've loved it. Â Ironically enough, Edge isn't featured in that particular storyline. Â I've also started Series 5 of Mad Men. Â I still don't think it's brilliant but here I am watching every episode.
Mr_Danger
Whats the level of enjoyment I can expect to get from Vikings? Is it dumb trash like Sons of Anarchy or is it closer to Spartacus in that it's far better than it looks and is a bit deeper?
Keith Houchen
More Spartacus but without the nudity. Plus the best way to approach it is as a drama that uses historical characters and not as a dramatic telling of historical events.
Merzbow
That Castlevania show on Netflix isn't too bad, is it? I just binged the second season and it's a right good laugh, it doesn't take itself too seriously but also doesn't make a mockery of the source material at all. Keith Houchen
Ha, yeah that was a bad choice! Â Well, at least for Don but not for the viewer!

It's fun from time to time but generally quite dull, I find. Nowhere near as good as Spartacus (but then again few shows are). I didn't connect with any of the characters at all. Paid Members Jazzy G Posted November 21, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted November 21, 2018 (edited) I started watching Parks & Recreation today to try and fill the gap until The Good Place is back on. I love how oblivious the characters are about how awful they are. Edited November 21, 2018 by jazzygeofferz
Merzbow
I still haven't seen the original Narcos but I'm currently loving the new Mexican season, doesn't seem like you need to have watched the older seasons at all either but I'll make sure to binge them now. Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted November 26, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted November 26, 2018 Having my finger on the pulse of pip culture me and the other half are watching Broad church. I'm also watching Whitechapel. I tell myself I don't like crime shows. It may be a lie.
Factotum
I really liked the last 2 series of Whitechapel. It dropped the copycat element and just went full on horror/crime show. Also Steve Pemberton is great in everything.
