Paid Members JNLister Posted January 31, 2008 Paid Members Share Posted January 31, 2008 How are All-Star events usually promoted? Can't see I've ever seen or heard of one being up near me.Main thing is using venues like theatres that do their own marketing of the various shows they are hosting. Big Rob
From Metal Master's blog: Last night in Southend was one of the best shows I've been on in years. I also had one of the best matches I've had in a long time against Robbie Dynamite. The crowd of over 1,500 was electric all night long for the show which is how wrestling SHOWS are supposed to be. Unfortunately, many independent wrestling promotions forget that they're actually putting on a show to entertain people and instead put on these miserable 5 hour long events. I refuse to call them shows because they're obviously not entertaining the spectators after the first 2.5 hours. I hope word gets out soon on the style of shows that All Star Promotions puts on because alot can be learned from them and hopefully help the business over here and in the states.I was very proud of the match I had with Robbie Dynamite. Robbie keeps getting better and is one of the best talents here in Europe. I did more high flying last night with Robbie which is what I'm trying to add more of to my performances. The Jackhammer proved once again to be a valuable specialty move as it got me the win and a huge reaction from the fans.
Paid Members GlennCullen Posted January 31, 2008 Paid Members Share Posted January 31, 2008 Wow this show sounds good. All Star are coming to Southampton again soon which I just may have to go to. Who can I expect to see there?

Who can I expect to see there?Should be the same kind of lineup, though I don't think Doug will be on. Rene, Gangrel and Dragon should be on, and Metal Master is definitely still on the tour. alex shane's selling ability
Looks like anyone going to an All Star show in the next few weeks (as I am) is in for one hell of a line-up!Subsequent line-ups may be slightly weaker than the Southend show as the holiday camp season will kick-in soon, but even half the roster that was used at Southend would be a decent enough night out for the prices All Star charge. The Dart
I'll be at Colchester and Ipswich too, and maybe, but probably not, Hayes. If those shows are half as good as Southend was I'll have got my money's worth.
legendkiller
I'll be at the Leamington Show but theres a show on the same day i think (could be wrong) so im really hoping Bryan Danielson is in Leamington.
The Dart
They've got a Butlins show the same day as Leamington, so a few of the bigger names might be on that.
alexander
I've been to two out of the last three Leamington shows are they are usually the low priority ones. We got Gangrel both times though, as well as a pair of outstanding Allmark/Dynamite bouts. And Lisa Fury was on the last one, being awesome and looking hot in a 70s glamour mag way.
