How can John Cena win "wrestler of the year" but he loses "babyface of the year" by a considerable margin, when he has wrestled exclusively as a babyface in 2007?

2 totally different categories. I would say he got Wrestler of the Year because he has been involved in some of the best matches and angles and he never fails to generate one of the biggest reactions on the card. I'd guess he didn't get babyface of the year because that reaction is not always a positive one.

He also received nominations for worst wrestler of the year and his injury received a few votes for Greatest Moment. The fact that WWE No Mercy received votes for both Best Event of The Year and Worst Event of The Year is another example of divided opinions this year.

While Dave Rayne vs. Chris Egan from Futureshock Wrestling was a truly excellent match (capping off a superb 6-month-long feud, with roots going back even further) and an example of what FSW does best (logical, easy-to-understand, yet utterly compelling feuds and matches), I find it absolutely astonishing that enough UKFFers saw it to be able to vote it British Match of the Year, especially considering FSW doesn't seem to have a strong UKFF following.

A deserved winner, but I never expected it. If anything, I hope this result convices more UKFFers to go along and check out FSW, since it is something that the vast majority will enjoy very much.
