I now know where the ridiculous line in McDonalds' charm offensive adverts about "they put beaks in McNuggets" comes from.
Â
Speaking of charm offensive adverts, sick and tired of Amazon and "Donnas caaaakes"
"work hard, play hard have fun whilst doing the job!"
fuck right off.
Â
yeah, I'm sick of it aswell.

Again, not for you to say what is or is not 'overboard'.
You do not know what other people's states of mind are and what you may be able to handle someone else may not.Â
People are affected by things in different ways.
Nobody is saying people can't comment or retort to things but Tilde mentioned it himself - the constant references to 'source?' has been going on years. It was much the same when, LONG after I had stopped talking about SHIMMER or womens wrestling, people were still making digs about 'liking wink-wink' the womens wrestlers etc. and these things may seem very trivial but when it is constant over a prolonged period of time it can be incredibly emotionally draining. It eats away at you.ÂI have autism [which was not diagnosed until I was 32] and am on anti-depressants from a mental breakdown I suffered in my 20's when I tried to take my own life. None of this is anything I should need to disclose or even mention to anyone [and no doubt I will get some sarky comment about it under the guise of 'bants'] but I am bringing it up to emphasise that if people are telling you 'this behaviour is affecting/has affected my mental health' it's up to YOU to do something about it - not to say to the person that they are 'reaching for something that is not there' or 'you're going overboard'. Do you know how arrogant and dismissive that is?Â
If someone is telling you, directly or indirectly, 'Lighten up with that stuff, yeah?' then just lighten the fuck up! Don't dig in or go 'Oh stop over-reacting'. Even if the person continues to do something you have mentioned in the past like posting something without sourcing it - is it really THAT much of an issue to you that you HAVE to comment on it?Â
...and to clarify - I never said you said anything about 'if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen' - that was more in regards to people who were using the 'well you don't HAVE to come on here, that's just what the UKFF is like' argument as an excuse for being bell-ends.Â
ÂI also suffer with mental health problems, and have been prescribed anti depressants for an extended period of time. Remember the ribbing I took about Valentineâs Day last year? Someone even split it off into its own thread and went to town. I took it in the humour it was intended, and took the piss out of myself.
Â
it is not for me to say what Tildeguy finds offensive or upsetting, and I arenât trying to, but if banter is to be banned on the UKFF because someone who may or may not suffer with depression may or may not be offended by it, then I think youâll find website traffic would be way down. Just chill out. Virtue signalling on someone elseâs behalf doesnât make anyone think better of you. Youâre clutching at straws.

I'm sorry but its not for you to say what does or does not affect someone's mental health or whether someone is going overboard with how they feel - what is 'light hearted mocking' to you can be very hurtful to someone else and when others start joining in with that mocking it CAN come across as bullying.Â
Its been endemic on here for years and as has been said the hypocrisy shown by some with their platitudes towards Caroline Flack's situation is laughable - those people really need to take a good look at their own behaviour.Â
....and the whole 'If you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen' argument? Yeah fuck off with that.
Â
Youâre really going overboard. People respond to his posts with âsource?â Or mention his âscoopsâ and weâre effecting his mental health and bullying him?
i donât recall ever saying if you canât stand the heat get out of the kitchen, either.Â
ÂYouâre reaching and grasping for something that isnât there.

In this case though someone brought up the fact I posted the source a few weeks back and got mocked for it.
I mean itâs not just that though, I also like Joshi Puroresu which then it turns gets me mocked for âyou buy used knickers and like underage girlsâ
did you not post on here some time ago about buying gear or something off someone in Japan? that would be why that gets brought up.

Of course, 7 years of being attacked for any little post I make on here makes me thin skinned.
Whilst those same âattackersâ rush to the mental health thread to either post about their problems or support others with issues or complain about media use other Caroline Flacks death.
Â
I don't post here often, but I lurk and read it almost daily.
Â
I think you're going a bit overboard saying you get 'attacked' you get light hearted mocking for posting 'news' you've taken off other sites, and present it as your own. thats it.
Â
that is absolutely NOT mental health, its not bullying, and it certainly isn't in the same realm as the treatment of Caroline Flack.

is there enough time between now and Mania to put together a John Cens vs Triple H match, both parttimers, doesn't hurt anybody whoever's wins and will be a really solid match
didn't they do it in Saudi a couple of years ago? it wasn't great.

I was irrationally annoyed by the Becky Lynch angle... I can *just about* get on board with her commandeering the ambulance and taking herself to hospital, but there's just no way at all she'd go into hospital, get treated, then leave and get back in the SAME AMBULANCE and drive back to the arena.

Rash decisions based on assumed 'wars' are what built this business. I'm all for it!đ

I often think about the time after the 2002 world cup, in which Ireland had played pretty well and pushed Spain very close in the last 16, after the tournament, Barcelona were linked with a move for Gary Breen who'd happened to have a good tournament. that will never not be funny to me.

Only just watching this weeks show. Imagine my shock at seeing Fenixâs, part of what is presented as one of the best teams in the company, record is only 6-5.
-
-
oh my, is the throwback episode on 5OD? I need to see that
-
for all the talk of win loss records and doing things differently to WWE most of the records are surprisingly even. it's almost as if they're doing EXACTLY what WWE does.
-
I'm glad I wasn't the only one that thought Rey looked like Doink in that mask. first thing I said when he made his entrance was "why has he come dressed as doink the clown?"
-
weakest show they've put out so far IMO. it was a little dull after the loads of fun first segment.
echo the criticism for the constant using of live animals on shows. cut that shit out.
Â
The Cody angle was a mess. JR didn't have a flipping clue who they were, and Excalibur seemed to assume they were world famous and everyone knows them.
"Who the hell is that?!"
"ITS THE BLADE! THE BLADE!"
"who is it??!"
"THE BLADE!!"
oh well now you've said it again I completely recognise him.

Did any of the Arsenal players routinely assault/attempt to murder Sol Campbell while he was a Spurs player?
well no, obviously, but I would imagine that's what we're supposed to believe now. Raw pays wages, and Smackdown pays wages. not WWE.
-
Why are wrestlers prepared to team with hated rivals and defend their brand having being on the opposite brand a few weeks before?
Â
well I don't know, but it's possibly the same reason the likes of Sol Campbell could turn out for Arsenal having being a Tottenham player just a week before.

Vince, Heyman and Lesnar got the fuck out of their on their private plane hours ago. They just let the roster face the music.
Very Steven gauntley of him! đ
-
It's almost as if they want him to look stupid. he looked like a right tool desperately trying to find someone to operate the forklift for him. Even bloody Mankind did it himself, and as noted above, as did Ambrose or Corbin.
-
Thought this weeks offering was the weakest Dynamite so far, but still watchable, and entertaining.
too many tag matches for me. I was pleased to see a couple of squashes though, up until this week every single match they had presented had been epic~! 100 kick outs each marathons, which leads to no clear hierarchy in terms of roster.
-
who'd have thunk it, it's because of Bodom/Quildan and Rev pro.....oh wait. I did.
-
it wasn't too bad. easy enough to watch, decent matches. I'm not surprised it beat NXT this week, but I wouldn't be surprised to see NXT start coming out on top within a few weeks.
Jericho is terrific in his role, and his physique fits the gimmick perfectly. and there's absolutely no way he has 'go away heat'. that's nonsense. Moxley is a star. I love that guy.

much better!

Christ, there are some moaning bastards around. I'm sure everyone that was looking forward to AEW's debut was hoping for a live, uncut showing to wither watch live or record, but ut hasn't worked out. Throwing your teddies out of the pram won't make ITV suddenly change their minds! An edited, Sunday morning show is a good way to keep abreast of things in the promotion, and if you are really hell bent on watching live, ÂŁ1 a show is a pittance for the enjoyment you would get from it.
Shit, if folk are moaning about this, I'm ust glad there was no internet back in the late 80's/early 90's, when all we had was a couple of hour long squash shows to keep up with things, and if I remember right, it was a fair old gap between RAW starting in the US and us actually getting it over here. I remember being jelous as hell that the American fans got to see "competative" matches between actual stars on a weekly basis...
In fairness, I don't know if anyone is 'throwing teddies out of the pram' or are under the illusion itll make any difference, just expressing disapointment that the deal Cody Rhodes promised was all pretty much hot air.
I'm not THAT bothered, but it is dissapointing and since its a wrestling forum i'm not entirely surprised to see people talking about it.
Best tag team match ever?
