If the London Bombings didn't happen, do you think Hassan would have continued as a character?

A lot of the other wrestlers seemed to really have it out for him though. Not like that would mean the end or anything, maybe the boys would have eventually accepted him once the likes of Bradshaw fucked off. The mid 2000's weren't the greatest time for new guys either because a lot of the old guard were still knockiing about. If he debuted 5 years later he wouldn't of had any problems in the slightest.

Mike Bucci talks about how rough Hassan had it. 2 minute mark.

Holy shit. If he won the belt in Washington on the 4th of July? Madness.

Good stories though, I would of thought the business is totally different now.

  2. WWE are mental to keep the storyline going, they would of canned it in 2005 and there's no doubt it's getting canned in 2014. It's a shame though because the segment on RAW was spectacular and over.

Challenge and TNA Wrestling search for a

new superstar in ‘British Boot Camp 2’

New series of TNA Wrestling: British Boot Camp exclusively on Challenge

    TX: Autumn 2014

Challenge today announces the return of TNA Wrestling: British Boot Camp, a new series searching for the UK’s next wrestling superstar. Commissioned with TNA Entertainment, this thrilling eight-part series will air exclusively on Challenge this Autumn and follow the search for aspiring professional wrestlers, who are trying to make it big in the ultra-competitive world of America’s TNA IMPACT WRESTLING.

Ambitious wrestlers from across the UK and Ireland will be invited by TNA to attend open wrestling try-outs filmed in the three announced locations of the 2015 TNA MAXIMUM IMPACT Tour; Glasgow, Manchester and London. The budding pros will have to demonstrate their prowess and wrestling skill levels to a panel of judges made up of three of TNA's top personalities, who will be announced shortly.

Wrestlers auditioning for TNA British Boot Camp will have to prove themselves before the judges to progress in the competition, with the stakes getting higher with each progressing round. Wrestlers making it past the audition round will return to face off against one another in a ‘Best of Britain’ showcase, where the top competitors from the event will win the opportunity to travel to the US to continue in the series, meeting the stars of TNA and experiencing first-hand what it takes to be a member of the TNA IMPACT WRESTLING fraternity. The top finalists will go on to compete in New York City, in front of the toughest fans in the world.

The winner will receive a contract from TNA President Dixie Carter to become a full-time member of the TNA IMPACT WRESTLING roster. Three runners-up will also win a spot on TNA’s annual MAXIMUM IMPACT UK Tour, which will take place in January 2015 and be taped for global television.

The winner of the first series of British Boot Camp, the former Birmingham bank clerk turned wrestler, Rockstar Spud, is now a successful member of the TNA IMPACT WRESTLING roster, representing the company at events all over the world. Spud will be on hand to counsel and encourage this year’s contestants throughout the series.

“The first series of TNA Wrestling: British Boot Camp was so successful that the winner has gone on to be a major star in America’s TNA IMPACT WRESTLING," says Stephen Ladlow, Director of Challenge. "As Challenge is the UK home for TNA, it’s only fitting that we commission a series that invests in a new UK talent and inspires passionate TNA fans and Challenge viewers alike to the high pressure world of professional wrestling.”

"I am thrilled TNA is once again partnering with Challenge to bring season 2 of British Boot Camp to our incredible fans across the U.K. and Ireland,” says TNA President Dixie Carter. “The first season brought Rockstar Spud – my amazing Chief of Staff – to TNA and I anticipate discovering another incredible athlete and entertainer on this new season.”

British Boot Camp Executive Producer and TV presenter Jeremy Borash adds: “The number one question I always get from fans across the UK is ‘when will we get a second season of British Boot Camp?’ And with the first season's popularity, combined with the incredible success of Rockstar Spud, we couldn't be more excited with this news. Everything about season 2 will be bigger, more competitive and more exciting for our fans. If you loved the first season of Boot Camp, then fasten your seatbelt."

TNA Wrestling: British Boot Camp 2 will search for a UK superstar. Exclusive to Challenge, the series will follow the aspiring home-grown wrestlers as they pursue a professional wrestling contract with TNA Wrestling. TNA will be inviting wrestlers to try out for the show in televised trials, which will take place in Glasgow, Manchester and London in August 2014.

Any professional wrestlers who are over the age of 18, who would like to apply to be invited for trial, should email bootcamp@tnawrestling.com

TNA Wrestling: British Boot Camp 2 was commissioned for Challenge by Chris Brogden, Acting Head of Sky Entertainment. It aims to compliment the burgeoning success of the TNA Impact series which is one of the top performing series on the channel. The series supports Sky’s commitment to increase its investment in home grown content to

COMPLETE TNA SPOILERS FROM NEW YORK CITY INCLUDING REPRISAL OF FAMOUS TAG TEAM FEUD

By Dave Scherer on 2014-06-27 20:41:04

    Xplosion:

Madison Rayne pinned Brittany with a forward roll.

    Impact:

Monster's Ball: Bram pinned Abyss after hitting him with Janice. Very goos, wild brawl that saw Bram chokeslammed onto tacks and Abyss speared through barbed wire board. Magnus interfered as well.

MVP's crew came out. He said no one is left for Bobby Lashley to beat, noting Lasley has beaten Eric Young, Austin Aries and Jeff Hardy. Bobby Roode came out and challenged him saying that Lashley shouldn't be stupid because he was never supposed to be in position to win the title - it was all a plot to get MVP the belt, but he got hurt. He said MVP sent him home with a suspension because he knew Roode couldn't be beaten and he was challenging for a title shot. Great promos from Roode and MVP. Lashley and crew attacked Roode. Eric Young and Austin Aries hit ring for save. This sets up a six man tag.

Bromans and DJ Zema vs. Samuel Shaw & Mr. Anderson & Gunner. Bromans win when Robbie rolls up Anderson and hooks the tights. Anderson, who wasn't happy about teaming with Shaw, blames him and is pissed at Shaw and walks out. Gunner is in the middle and isn't happy.

The Beautiful People come out. Angelina Love says she doesn't care if she broke up Gail vs. Taryn III and she wants her title back right now. It was the best mic work she's been given the opportunity to do in some time. She claimed she was the best looking Knockout and the best wrestler and was tired of people taking what was rightfully hers. Taryn came out and said Love shouldn't be complaining about people taking from her. She said that she never took a thing from Love, but Love stole her chance to be champion. Love told her there's a pecking order so she can go home and tell her baby that mommy is second or third best. Gail came out and said Kurt Angle told her she gets to choose who she gets to defend the title against next. Kim teases it will be Love, but then says Taryn as well. She then says that Velvet is standing there letting Angelina say all sorts of things and asks her what she thinks about it. Love stops Sky from speaking. KIm says it won't matter what who thinks what, because it will be a four way with all of them and says we will now see who the best Knockout is. They brawl and the faces run off the heels

Low Ki vs. Homicide vs. Samoa Joe to crown a new X-Division champion. James Storm said Sanada ended Great Muta's career when he introduced him. Joe makes Sanada tap, so he wins the belt. Some fun reprisal of the Classic Joe vs. Ki feud.

Bully Ray came out to a hero's welcome in NYC. He said he kept his promise and put Dixie through a table. He brought out Devon saying he was the one person he couldn't have done it without. Devon said that since Dixie is gone, it's time to get to business. They thanked everyone for inducting them into the TNA Hall of Fame. The Hardy Boys came out. Matt said it was the first time in 12 years they were in a ring together and congratulated them on the HOF induction. They went over their history talking about big matches they had in different cities but never explicitly saying WWE. Bully Ray said it sounds like the fans want to see them have one more match. They set it up for later tonight.

Eric Young & Bobby Roode & Austin Aries vs. TNA champ Bobby Lashley & MVP & Kenny King. Team Lashley wins a good six man tag. Aries was going for the 459 splash off the top but was nailed by a MVP crutch. Lashley speared Aries for their pin. Good stuff.

Rhino, EC3 and Spud came out. Spud asked for a moment of silence for Dixie Carter. The crowd went nuts and Spud wanted to fight the crowd. EC3 cut a good promo on crowd for celebrating and demanded Bully Ray be terminated from TNA. Out came Kurt Angle. He says they are in NYC not Nashville and says he is wasting their time so either wrestle or get out of the ring. EC3 says they will not wrestle this week and demanded Bully be fired. Angle warned them wrestle or get out. They refused. Angle had the "NYPD" come out and arrest them. Spud tried to claim he has diplomatic immunity. The cops handcuffed Rhino and Spud. EC3 claimed he knew Donald Trump and Bernie Madoff and attempted to pay off the cops. They tossed down the cash and handcuffed him too. They were walked out of the building through the fans.

Mr. Anderson vs. Gunner. The crowd died for this one as they were catcalling and doing the back and forth Cena chants and singing Adam Rose's theme song. Samuel Shaw came out and attacked Anderson. The crowd chanted, "Thank you Dexter". The only thing on the taping that the crowd wasn't really receptive to live.

Xplosion: TNA Tag Team champs The Wolves defeated The Bromans.

Abyss cut a promo and said that Bram has something that belongs to him and demanded he come out. Bram and Magnus came out with Janice. Bram said he's beaten Abyss twice with her and it drives him wild to drive her into his chest. Abyss asked if he really wanted to get extreme. He challenged Bram to a Match with tables, tacks, fire and barbed wire with Janice hanging above the ring. He said he will get her and shred Bram with it. Bram accepts. Magnus cut a promo on Abyss who nailed him and Magnus and tried to get Janice but was nailed from behind and they stole Janice again. Abyss said that at Stairway to Janice, he would show them what a bitch Janice can be.

Low Ki won a six way elimination Scramble by defeating Homicide. The other competitors were Tigre Uno who dazzled with some Lucha spots. Others involved were Crazzy Steve, DJ Zema and Manik. Good match especially Homicide and Low Ki at the end, which NYC ate up.

Team 3D defeated The Hardy Boys in an excellent match. The crowd was chanting "This is awesome" before they even locked up. This was a great balls to wall match with tons of near falls and reprisals from their feud. 3D wore outfits reminiscent of their WWE run. Great stuff. They all showed respect and hugged at the end. Bully said that they were four of the dying breed of tag teams. He said there is another team that has shown they are good enough to stand in this ring with them, The Wolves and called them out. The champs came out and all four paid tribute to them in the ring with Matt Hardy getting very emotional.

With all six in he ring, Bully asked NYC if they had a good time tonight and said that the past is the past and that this company was here to bust its ass for the people. He said the last three nights were some of the finest wrestling today and if you disagree, get the F out of the building. He put over the locker room and said if there were any wrestlers still in the back, he wanted them to come out. The baby face locker rook emptied as they came out with Al Snow and Pat Kenney. The crowd greeted the locker room with a raucous TNA chant. Devon then announced it was Al Snow's birthday and everyone sang for him. That was actually a rib on Snow. The locker room saluted NYC and told them they would be back in August. Everyone posed for photos and signed photos with ringside fans as the locker room bid them all farewell. A strong ending to the triple shot.

NEWS AND NOTES FROM FINAL TNA IMPACT WRESTLING TAPING IN NYC

By Mike Johnson on 2014-06-28 01:10:00

Once again, nothing spoiler related here.

TNA legitimately sold out the Grand Ballroom at the Manhattan Center on Friday 6/27 with 1,200 fans in attendance. This was the show that sold out first out of the trio, based on the advertising that the Hardys would be reuniting.

TNA must not have been happy about video clips from the first two days of taping getting out, as security was in full force stopping any fans they believed were shooting video at the show.

In an update on the Friday attendance, a source at the venue stated today it was in the 900 range. I had it pegged at no more than 650.

That would mean TNA drew about 3,300-3,400 fans over the three days. There was a feeling backstage that the crowd was partially a different set of fans every night as there were performers getting "welcome back" chants on the second and third nights when they had obviously been appearing all week at the venue.

Tommy Dreamer was backstage at the third taping working as an agent but did not appear before the crowd.

After the show, Al Snow was ribbed when Devon took the house mic and asked that everyone sing for his birthday. It wasn't Snow's birthday. I was told this was an ongoing rib from Devon on Snow today.

Morale remained up after the third taping as the NYC crowd remained hot for most of the matches on the show.

Backstage visiting at the show were Prince Nana, Steve Mack and the former Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz, KC Blade and the now retired EC Negro.

Mistress Belmont from NECW and other New England independent groups also received a tryout yesterday before the show.

Professional bodybuilder Kai Greene was at the taping on Thursday.

A number of fans with House of Hardcore ticket stubs received private meet and greets with Bully Ray after each night of the tapings this week as his way to make good from being pulled from the HOH events earlier this month. I was told that 50 fans total also received the meet and greet at the TNA tapings in Bethlehem, PA a few weeks back.

  7. Apologies for the daft question but I'm avoiding the spoilers. What is the airdate for the Manhattan Centre tapings?

    First episode is next Thursday.

Some notes from yesterday's tapings. No spoilers inside but I'll tag it incase.

NOTES AND NEWS FROM NIGHT TWO OF TNA'S IMPACT WRESTLING TAPINGS IN NYC

By Mike Johnson on 2014-06-27 03:31:32 Again, no spoiler-related items here.

Thursday night's Impact Wrestling taping in New York City was one of the best tapings the company has had in years and in speaking to a number of people who work for the company after the show, it was being praised as one of the top three or five best TNA events in the company's history.

Scott Fishman, Senior vice president and executive producer of Spike was in attendance at the taping. There were some Spike employees at the taping yesterday, but Fishman is a top level exec with the cable network and has had a long standing relationship with TNA.

Company morale was extremely up after the taping. There was a feeling that the crew had accomplished something special and that it was a night where a lot of talents who had worked hard but hadn't been spotlighted as stars received a star reaction. I would say that was a fair assessment as there were names like The Wolves who received a homecoming welcome from the audience that made them look far more important than they had been coming off. TNA staff who had never really seen how loud and passionate the NYC fans could get were blown away.

The taping drew a legitimate 1,200 fans to the Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom. The paid was a little less, although signs posted backstage noted that the show was sold out and there were no comp tickets available for guests.

A source with the venue (not TNA) stated that 150-200 fans who attempted to buy tickets at the door were turned away as letting them in would have put the venue beyond fire code capacity and there was no way that was going to be allowed.

The third and final TNA Impact Wrestling taping at the Manhattan Center tonight is already sold out in advance. TNA had sold that date out first (it was announced as the Hardy Boyz reunion initially) but released an additional 20 tickets yesterday. They were immediately bought up. It's possible there will be seats released but it won't be many and it won't be until the last minute.

TNA held tryouts before the fans were in the building for some local independent talents. The only name I've confirmed is female talent Kasey Ray.

Former WWE referee Kevin Keenan was at the show visiting.

Reby Sky, Matt Hardy's wife who has worked for Lucha Libre USA, currently hosts a Playboy TV series and is a NYC native, was also at the show.

TNA was selling signed and framed posters commemorating Matt and Jeff Hardy's reunion.

After tonight's taping, TNA is off on Saturday and then has a house show Sunday in Lakewood, NJ at the FirstEnergy Park with TNA champ Bobby Lashley vs. Eric Young, Bully Ray vs. EC3 with Rockstar Spud, Angelina Love & Velvet Sky vs. Gail Kim & Madison Rayne, TNA Tag Team champions The Wolves Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards vs. BroMans, Sanada vs. Manik vs. Tigre Uno plus Kurt Angle appearing.

TNA will be taping in the venue again 8/5-8/7. Don't be surprised to see TNA go back and tape TV at the Sands Bethlehem Events Center in PA either as the staff and performers really loved the atmosphere there as well.

THE REST OF THE 7/24 IMPACT, TNA DESTINATION X SPOILERS FROM NYC AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2014-06-26 21:33:11

This is part two of the second episode they began filming last night.

Bobby Roode vs. MVP Falls Count Anywhere. MVP wouldn't come out so Roode went to the back. They brawled into the building. The crowd loved the brawl. Way hotter crowd tonight. Kenny King attacked Roode but Eric Young hit the scene and ran him off. Roode worked over MVP with a chair and locked in the Cloverleaf for a submission. Really fun brawl!

TNA Knockouts champ Gail Kim vs. Taryn Terrell. They were having a really good match when The Beautiful People attacked them. No contest.

Gunner & Mr. Anderson vs. Magnus & Bram. Bram pinned Anderson. After the match, Bram went to attack Gunner with a piece of metal from under the ring. Samuel Shaw ran in but was laid out with it. Bram beat down Gunner. Abyss' music hit and he came to the ring.. They brawled and Abyss cleaned house.

    Destination X is next.

It opened with Kurt Angle doing the same speech as last night, minus mentioning the names no longer with the company. Could be a reshoot from last night since the building is way more packaged tonight.

Out comes Dixie Carter with her crew including Snitsky and Big Zeke. Dixie cut a promo and the crowd was so loud you legitimately couldn't hear her. I think the promo was that these men were the true stars. EC3 said they were his Army of Extreme. They are calling Snitsky by that name but renamed Zeke. EC3 cut a hell of a promo. He said this is war and issued a challenge for a final battle. He said he will put them down forever.

TNA Tag Team champions The Wolves defeated The Hardys. Great match and a super hot crowd for everything. Just an awesome match. Best match of the taping a so far and by far the best The Wolves have looked here to date. Tons of near falls and highspots.

Low Ki defeated Zema Ion and Manik. Great stuff.

James Storm introduced Sanada and said the student has now surpassed the teacher. He said he is Sanada's new teacher. Brian Cage vs. Sanada vs. Crazy Steve. Cage did lots of awesome power spots. Sanada wins with Tiger Suplex and a bridge on Steve.

Tommy Dreamer and Team 3D come out. They say they will go to war right now so no one has to wait. EC3's crew came out and said they will do it on Carter time, next week. Bully Ray said no one wants to go to war next week. Ray threatened to start a riot and the crowd wanted that and chanted for it. He said if it's next week, it's going to be an Eight man Extreme Weapons Hardcore War. Ray then swore to God he is putting Dixie through a table.

Samoa Joe vs. Homicide vs. Tigre Uno. Joe cut a great promo saying he told Kurt Angle to put him in the X-Division. He said he is still pro wrestling and he was going to win the X-Division title. Big reactions for Joe and Homicide. Joe pins Homicide. He and Homicide shake hands after. Crowd popped for the reunion of old ROH foes. Good stuff.

The Three-Ways are qualifying matches with the winners facing off for the X-Division title down the line. I am assuming that will be taped tomorrow.

    The crowd is awesome tonight.

TNA champ Bobby Lashley vs. Austin Aries. Aries really took it to Lashley and they had a good match, Aries hit the brain buster for two and went up for the 450 splash. Lashley rolled out. Aries went for a dive and Lashley moved. Aries knocked himself out hitting the rail in brutal fashion. Lashley tossed him in and speared him. There were a few times where Lashley looked tenative but Aries worked his ass off and there was some really good stuff here.

Best two hours of Impact in forever.

Xplosion - Knox and The Freak defeated The Bromans.

    Impact episode, post Destination X.

Hardcore War. Team EC3 vs. Team Extreme. Each man will enter with a weapon. They are doing Wargames like entrances. Dixie Carter is sitting in a balcony with King Mo. Out first is EC3 with a baseball bat. Tommy Dreamer is first for his team with a Singapore Cane. Rhino was next out for Team Carter with a trash can. Devon was next out with a trash can. Snitsky with a hockey stick was out next. Bully Ray with a chain was next. Last for Team Carter was the former Ezekiel Jackson, who had a chair. Last out was Al Snow complete wth the rave lighting and heads in the crowd. Snow whipped out an Asai Moonsault to the outside. Spud tries to interfere and gets killed by the ECW crew. Team 3D pin Rhino with 3D. Really Fun brawl with the villains getting the upper hand only for the babyfaces to get fire when the odds evened up.

After the match, Ray asked where Dixie was and the crowd all pointed to her. He promised tonight she was going through a table. She freaked out and said that wasn't going to happen but promised King Mo would knock Bubba out tonight. Crowd was all over Dixie. The crowd is making the show.

The next segment saw Dixie Carter come out with the Carter Army. She was pissed and fired Snitsky and Zeke for failing and said they were losers and has-beens. So, they are already done here. She began firing and screaming at the fans and demanded they get out of her venue. Dreamer and Team 3D came out with the table. Ray said he promised something for a long time, that Dixie - the most hated woman in wrestling - is going through the table. Dreamer said he warned her and said she was going through because she represents all that is wrong with wrestling. Mo nailed Dreamer. Bully attacked Mo and took him out. Dixie tried to escape and the entire babyface roster came out and forced her back in the ring. Bully nailed her with a sitdown power bomb through the table as the roster cheered, surrounding the ring. Dreamer took mic and said his work here is done. Bully got the crowd to sing " Ding Dong the Witch is Dead." Everyone celebrated over Dixie, who was stretchered out. The crowd chanted TNA to close the show. A hell of a way to close the show and an awesome spectacle. Just great.

TNA had a hell of a turnaround tonight. Best taping in a long time that I am aware of.

    [close spoiler]

    ");document.close();
  9. The crowd apparently had a right laugh throughout the night. They chanted "You cant wrestle" and "Cena's better" at Lashley. "This match sucks" at the women before they even locked up. "CM Punk" throughout the show. "GFW" at Dixie. "Chris Benoit" for some reason. "ROH" at random points throughout the show. "ECW" of course.

That's TNA. Wonderful job they've done establishing a fan base.

    I can see your point.

But when you have a room filled with internet fans regardless they're gonna chant shit. RAW after Mania, usually the UK RAW taping etc.

RE: the Friday being sold. Dixie and co was tweeting it was sold out, I never checked.

  10. These tapings look pretty good. Looking forward to seeing them.

<-- click on 'spoiler' to show/hide the spoiler

Kurt Angle cut a promo in the balcony of the Manhattan Center with the six sided ring behind him in the distance. Angle TNA has brought back the Six-Sided ring to come back to their roots. He said It made them different as did talents like AJ Styles, The Motor City Machineguns, Jerry Lynn and Beer Money. He said that TNA has make some mistakes but it's been 12 years and the company is still standing. He said that tonight is the night they reboot TNA and it all begins tonight. He introduced Taz.

Taz got a huge pop and an ECW chant, coming out in another part of the balcony. He was dressed like NYC Brooklyn/FTW Taz, not Taz the announcer. He cut a great promo about how NYC knows what he knows and that's how important wrestling is. He said he was part of the most important revolution in wrestling history. He said the locker room tonight has the same look as ECW talents did back in the day. He promised we were gonna see some different stuff tonight. He then did his old catchphrases and NYC lapped it up.

Tommy Dreamer and Bully Ray came out. Bully put over NYC and said he made a guarantee that Dixie Carter was going through a table. Dreamer cut a promo saying this was the new Madhouse of Extreme and that the fans were the biggest part of the changes TNA is going through. The crowd was really into all this, as it was NYC guys paying tribute to NYC EC3 and a Rhino came out. Carter said they weren't going to put Dixie through anything. Carter was good. Dreamer said this isn't a PG show and he wants to see less talking and more action. They started brawling. They ring the bell. They had a good match. Carter got the pin on Dreamer while hooking the tights.

X-Division championship Gauntlet: Champion Austin Aries vs. Eddie Edwards. The crowd chanted ROH at the bell. Manik was third in. Next out was Davey Richards. Sixth was DJ Zema Ion. Ion and Manik went over the ropes during a leaping Rama and we're eliminated. Next out was Tigre Uno. Crazzy Steve was next. Steve was super over. Sanada was next. It came down to Senada vs. Aries at the end. Aries get the pin with a brain buster in a really good match. Final minutes were excellent. Probably one of the best X-Division matches in some time.

MVP, on crutches, cut a promo saying he was wrestling tonight under protest. He crapped on NYC and said Kurt Angle is doing the same things fans complained about him for doing so they are hypocrites. MVP and Kenny King vs. Eric Young and Roode. MVP was DQ'd for using the crutch. He and King beat them with crutches.

In a No DQ, no Countout match, Madison Rayne pinned Brittany. They worked hard but crowd wasn't getting behind it and did dumb chants.

Bobby Lashley pinned Jeff Hardy after a spear. Lashley was put on the steps outside and Hardy came off the top but missed and crashed into the steps. Insane, brutal spot. Really good match that was probably one of the best of Lashley's career and if this comes off on TV as strong as it did live, it will really surprise people.

    7/24/14:

Dixie Carter, Rhino, Spud and EC3 came out for a promo. Carter ripped on NYC fans. She mocked Tommy Dreamer's promo a few weeks ago and ripped on Bully Ray. She said she should be called the Hardcore Star for putting Ray through tables. Ray and Dreamer came out with a table. They brawled with EC3 and Rhino. They were left with Dixie and went to put her through but her minions saved her. Devon hit the scene and attacked EC3. He and Ray did the wazzup Headbutt on him. They gave him 3D through the table.

Xplosion: TNA Knockouts champ Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky. Sky wins with sunset flip.

Low Ki returned and beat DJ Zema Ion with the Ki Krusher. NYC was happy to see him. The Bromans did a lot of silly stuff in their entrance that got heat.

The Great Muta defeated Robbie E. It was all about getting the trademark Muta spots in. E did some mic work and got a response from the crowd knocking Muta before the match. E ate the green mist. James Storm came out and cut a promo on another old guy coming here at the expense of someone who broke his back to make this company. Storm attacked Muta. Sanada ran out and Storm backed off but Sanada attacked Muta with a chair and nailed him with a moonsault. This was Muta's NYC debut. This came off more like it was stuff to set up angles in Japan than anything else.

Jeff Hardy came out for a promo. He was limping. He said The people and Kurt Angle wanted him back and Willow listened, he said it wasn't the last of Willow and he will do everything he can to entertain the people. He said he was here to talk about the future and brought out Matt Hardy. Matt cut a promo saying he had to go away to get himself healthy physically, mentally and emotionally and did that but feels that he let Jeff and the fans down. The crowd was super behind him and disagreed that he let them down. Based on the reaction Matt got, he was one of the most popular names on the show. Matt said that he's said his apologies and now it's time to let actions speak and it's time to become the TNA tag team champions as they want to be the champions again. He challenged The a Wolves to a match at Destination X. The Wolves came down to the ring and accepted after some back and forth talking. It was Davey Richards' best talking in TNA to date and Eddie Edwards was good as well.

Kurt Angle brought out Austin Aries to see if he would relinquish the X-Division title for a title shot against Bobby Lashley. Before Aries could decide, out came Lashley and MVP. MVP cut a promo. Aries told him to get to the point. Aries cut a good promo on MVP and said he's got unfinished business with the TNA title. Aries handed the title over. Aries vs. Lashley at Destination X. MVP and Lashley told him he made the biggest mistake if his life.

Dixie Carter was in the balcony with King Mo. She cut a promo on Dreamer and said she was going to give everyone a reason to chant the three letters she hates so much.

NYC Streetfight: EC3. & Spud & Rhino vs. Team 3d & Tommy Dreamer. Lots of plunder. Devon was attacked by guy in sweatshirt who was Snitsky. Atlas Security tackled him and they treated it like it was a real fan trying to get over the rail to the point the crowd (not able to see Snitsky as he was wearing a sweatshirt over his head) reacted like it was real. Bubba went to tend to Devon. Dreamer killed Spud with piledriver and worked over EC3 but was attacked by Ezekiel Jackson from the crowd. Dixie revealed the men were with her Dreamer was pinned. Dixie's forces beat down Dreamer and 3D. Mo was with Dixie but didn't get involved.

Xplosion: Mr. Anderson and Gunner defeated The BroMans. Pretty good actually, but most of the crowd was burnt out and tired from a long taping and many had left. Anderson's entrance got a huge reaction from those left.

  11. Apparently the 800 seat Manhattan Centre tapings have not sold out.

Apologies if this has been mentioned already but - ouch!

In all fairness, usually TNA sell most tickets just days before the event.

You buy a WWE ticket because of the brand, TNA doesn't have that. You don't know who's going to be on the show until like a week before hand usually and you know it won't sell completely out so there's no rush. People just wait and see if they fancy it last minute, or at least that's what I do.

  12. I really enjoyed Slammiversary. It was surprisingly really good and even the likes of Lashley had their super working boots on, not a single person didn't go above and beyond on that show. A good show is what TNA really needed, it helped having a super hot crowd too which was bigger than usual (due to Kevin or not, still great!). My only gripe is that I felt Aries should had won the main event.

  13. Eddie Edwards vs Davey Richards

Why are the Wolves fighting each other? Please tell me TNA haven't been dumb enough to bring them in, make them win, lose and regain the belts and split them up already.
