Re. Owen Hart, he worked Eli Collins's big show around then I think, not long before Royal Rumble '92, so am thinking possibly seeing out European dates before coming in full-time.

My uncle, who isn't a wrestling fan, went to Toronto for Christmas '91 and ended up going to the Boxing Day house show at Maple Leaf Gardens. One of the final ever Rockers matches, against the Beverly Brothers and, as mentioned, Mountie under his real name against Bret. Got brought back a programme and young AshC made a literal schoolboy error, cutting out a bunch of the photos to use on a get-well card. Think I might still have the actual paper match card though.

Discos. And those orange Nik Naks.

They used to do loads of those. They did 4 in 1988 which was great if you went to said school and fancied seeing Rockers vs Conquistadors.
Good for learning your Spanish numbers too, that one.

So we all love Royal Rumble 92, right?Â
Well, what a day it was when I discovered this fundraiser show from the night prior...
With several of the same combinations that would feature on the Rumble undercard!
In front of 3,000 people in a high school gym in Connecticut!
Wow.

I'd be up for Cody vs Savio, weightlifting strap vs Carribbean strap. 😂

Olympic Gold Medalist gets a starmaking debut, beating a former World champ on WrestleMania, after getting the green light from Vince McMahon himself... or former tag champ from Legacy comes out. There are people there who'll be thinking that. And if we look at the former's potential upside for the company, as a mainstream name with real world credibility... it's not madness, is it?Â
Might deflate ten or twenty thousand hatewatchers in the crowd, but anything less than a re-enactment of WrestleMania 17 often does.

Too much love will kill you.

Who would you go with then?
SpoilerGable Steveson. Bron Breakker. Goldberg.
One of these. Spoiler tags as to not plant the idea in anyone's heads and... well, spoil it.

Not sure it's petty, they debut people on that Raw show just about every year. Rhodes has never been announced for Mania. And, let's be honest, it wouldn't even make much sense. There's at least two candidates that make more sense to me.

It won't be Cody Rhodes.

They were too engrossed in the Mauler vs Steve Doll putting on a clinic.Â
Larry Z was, as I recall.
Never got resolved that one, did it? Like Coventry vs St. Mirren in the 1987 Anglo-Scottish Cup.

A true great of the Albert Squared Circle.

Could have been Mike and Angelo!

What a guy. A sad day.

Speaking of six-man mains events, I've always been fascinated by them running this one in autumn 1992. What an ensemble of characters! Get well soon, Razor man!

Man, we could have had Hacksaw as ECW Champion?! I want that.

I think the Piper's Pit segment counts, tbh.

I'd love Regal to just slap them around a bit and give them the 'grow the fuck up' treatmentÂ
Kinky.

HHH was high on Cardiff. See there being a Takeover there and him rocking up at ICW at Tramshed. HHH has been reassigned. And Vin Man is probably less high on Cardiff.

That was one of the best episodes they've done. Don't give me long matches on TV, give me shitload of angles and developments. Ace.
-
Full season is great news!
Get it back on Channel 5 as well, I say.
-
Leaving it open like this will help sell a load of tickets. That's business. I don't see Steve Austin having a wrestling match. Otherwise, they'd have billed it as such.

He isn't wrestling, is he? Piper's Pit gimmick.
