65 over delivered massively for me. I wasn't expecting/didn't know much going in but I was happy to be watching a random sci fi b movie the likes there aren't enough of anymore. I ended up pretty much loving it, especially the last act. Really glad I saw it in the cinema too for some of the VFX and sound.
Someone genuinely fell asleep and was snoring a couple of seats down from me. I was about to wake him but I fell asleep too before I got the chance.

Finally caved with the 10% off. Really looking forward to playing more. I don't get much time at home.
Hide my credit card from me.

Hadn't played it in about 20 years but gave Age of Empire II a go on Gamepass. Once you get used to the controls it works pretty well. Quite enjoyed building up my town so it's devastating when the other bastard tribes destroy it (the point of the game).

Why would they move them? What would be the point of that?
New owners hate Tory Britain and the people? War? Bring some tourists to Middle East?

If there was a European or World league, there wouldn't be a need to move.
A world league would mean they wouldn't need to be in Manchester.

In theory could a club be moved to another country? Let's say Man United owners wanted to take the club to the US and join MLS. I mean they wouldn't but could they?
Eventually we'll have a European or World league so what's to stop them moving.

Can you play your Epic store games on Steam Deck?
I don't need any more reasons to buy one so shouldn't have asked.

I got in 99c a month for black Friday, an absolute bargain. My father in law even got to watch Rugby on it this afternoon. New film releases in 4K too.

Edit - will post another time. As you were.

Banshees for me still for me. It will be the ultimate test of how worthless they are if it loses.

I haven't used it for a while, so didn't know this. Ugh. I've just looked it up though, and if you bought it in the past, you should still have access to Filmic legacy - the previous version of the app. I haven't tested it yet, and heard sorting it out is a little fiddly, but once you do, it should just be the regular recent version of the app.
Yeah I've downloaded it but read there's a few bugs and they've made it difficult to get your footage for some. Bastards!

It encouraged me to watch the few I still haven't seen like Decision to Leave. Watched tonight and it's excellent.

Filmic Pro have switched to a subscription model, even for people that paid up front. They can fuck off.

Gravity
Wanted to give the surround sound a test on something that wasn't all out action. The effects are pretty spectacular and it's one of the only ever films I wished I watched in 3D. It goes without saying it's much better than Clooney's latest 'Ticket to Paradiae' I watched with my in-laws.

Thank you all for recommending AliExpress. Within seconds of curiously searching for items online, I found this bundle
I have since found roughly 1,043 things I’d also like to spend my money on.@jazzygeofferz I read Francis Bourgeois’ book over Christmas. Very good.
Last week I randomly got this set from a charity shop including a puzzle, like new for £2.50

Any idea when tickets will go on sale? Had no real interest in WWE for a while but only a 15 min drive away so may as well make the effort.

I keep them on my phones notes, but I suppose I better log them somewhere better. Letterboxd I guess.
Letterboxd is great, start of the year is the best time to sign up.

Launched this year. We've had some in person meet ups and the end of year awards so far. Over 50 critics voted for the list.

Ahh so that's why it's down there.
Made the top 100 so some of the others must have liked it!

The Batman and Pinocchio in the top 10 while The Souvenir: Part II is at 100 is a good laugh, I'll give them that.
The Souvenir Part II is one of the worst films I've seen all year, only The Eternal Daughter was worse. I don't think Joanna Hogg is for me.
